• Must possess a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent. Seniority will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in systems design and the implementation of software.
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, along with back-end skills in PHP and MySQL.
• Familiarity with AWS services is also required.
• Experience with CodeIgniter, and MVC architecture
• Experience on developing Restful API with XML / JSON.
• Good understanding of Agile, SCRUM, SDLC and software design concepts.
• Familiarity using AI tools for coding help, documentation, or automation is a plus.
• Familiar with GIT versioning control, branching strategies, and code reviews.
• Knowledge in JIRA / Bitbucket / Jenkins / Static Code Security are an advantage.
• Understanding security principles & best practices (e.g., OWASP Top Ten) in web application development.
• Experience writing unit tests and integration tests (xUnit or similar).
• Strong skills in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently when required, with proper guidance.
• Ability to deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
