In this position, you will work in the Material Engineering team within the Packaging R&D organization who owns and deploys best-in-class material engineering solutions to the top-edge product and technology development across advanced semiconductor packaging, flash memory product and host levels. Your essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Drive advancement in packaging materials by addressing material-related design and process challenges. Develop solutions to support next-generation package requirements, including smaller form factors, thinner die, higher interconnect density, increased power, and enhanced reliability.
• Lead the evaluation, development, and qualification of advanced packaging materials for both product development and high-volume manufacturing. Ensure compliance with industry standards and sustain high material quality to enable reliable, high-yield, and cost-efficient manufacturing.
• Responsible for material characterization, lab testing, and design of experiments (DOE) to simulate manufacturing processes and use-condition failure. Analyze thermal, mechanical, and environmental performance to ensure materials meet reliability and performance targets.
• This position will interface with package and product design (in particular, thermal and mechanical), reliability, failure analysis, assembly R&D, and process teams to define material requirements and solutions. We are looking for a curious and motivated Junior Data Management Engineer with foundational experience in machine learning, Computer Vision and GenAI  to join our growing data team. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who is eager to contribute to data engineering tasks while gaining hands-on exposure to machine learning workflows. You'll help ensure data pipelines are optimized for analytics and ML model development, supporting both operational and strategic decision-making. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with multiple stakeholders to identify, diagnose and resolve manufacturing process related problems such as quality excursions, manufacturing excellence and cost improvement. 
• Apply computer vision algorithms to inspect production lines for defects, improve yield, and enhance overall quality control. Leverage techniques such as object detection, image segmentation, and defect localization to identify issues early in the manufacturing process. 
• Build, train, and validate machine learning models to address complex manufacturing challenges, such as defect detection, process optimization, and performance prediction. 
• Able  to deploy trained models into production environments, including APIs, edge devices, or embedded systems. Ensure seamless integration with manufacturing systems and establish real-time monitoring for model performance.

As a Test Engineer - Process, you will lead the Project improvement in Burn In area, and support execution and manufacturing issues related to Test Process, and continue improve manufacturing issues with new ideas from time to time through close collaboration across teams and disciplines. In addition, you'll drive Test Process improvements to make our systems more robust and scalable via systematic and proper tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own and sustain burn-in manufacturing processes to ensure stable production performance.
• Monitor burn-in process health, yield trends, uptime, and quality indicators.
• Analyze yield excursions, failures, and process deviations using data-driven methodologies.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve burn-in efficiency, reliability screening effectiveness, and cost reduction.
• Provide timely disposition and technical support for production issues impacting shipment and manufacturing flow.
• Support lot handling, disposition decisions, and recovery actions during abnormal events.
• Support qualification and release of new products into burn-in manufacturing.
• Partner closely with product managers, NPI engineers, Assembly engineers, Manufacturing supervisor and QA to scope, plan, design, and build new features as well as maintain existing functionality.
• Generate and maintain SOPs, OCAPs, FMEA, control plans, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, ESD requirements, and quality management systems
• Participate in audits and customer quality reviews as required.
