The Senior Manager / Assistant Director / Senior Assistant Director (Technology‑Business Development – Low‑Carbon Hydrogen) will manage industry R&D collaborations and translation activities across hydrogen and hydrogen‑derived value chains (e.g. production, storage, carriers such asammonia, cracking, utilisation and systems integration). Key Responsibilities

Embedded in client environments, this role leads Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to rapidly develop and debug AI applications to accomplish production-grade deployment, while driving product feature iteration.

Responsibilities

-Develop a deep understanding of client business scenarios, lead FDEs to rapidly build and validate AI application prototypes, provide the technical architecture guidance they need, and iteratively advance agent systems to production-grade deployment.

-Lead FDEs in designing AI and cloud-based architectures and, through AI-assisted development, rapidly implement them in client environments, effectively integrating client application APIs and data systems in compliance with client security requirements.

-Lead FDEs in building high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to ensure agent systems meet requirements for accuracy, safety, and latency.

-Identify reusable application patterns and technical issues, translate them into product feature requests, and drive product development.

-Work closely with client engineering teams to ensure the successful launch, long-term success, and strong adoption of AI applications.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

- 5+ years of client-facing technical architecture and delivery experience, strong command of vibe coding, and the ability to independently handle prototype development, client communication, and production-grade delivery.

- 2+ years of technical team management experience.

- Experience with AI applications, such as prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, and agent development, and in cloud-based architecture and development, such as development using cloud service APIs/SDKs, automated deployment, and high-availability architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s or PhD degree in a related field.

Job Scope:

The Senior Manager, Systems and Processes is the person for principal day to day responsibility for the efficient use of Reval, the Group’s Treasury Management System, throughout the Group.  This will involve liaising with Ion, the vendor of Reval, on updates and on performance issues. It will also involve working with the LBUs to ensure they are making optimal use of the system. Additionally it will involve managing the transition to ISO2022 and the change in messaging format involved.

The Senior Manager will also have responsibility for overseeing the transition of tasks from the Group treasury teams in London and Hong Kong to the new staff in the VCC in Kuala Lumpur.

The Senior Manager will also oversee all controls over processes within the Treasury teams in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur and ensure that they are well designed and operating effectively.  They will also be responsible for ensuring that the data received from the LBUs is timely and accurate.
