Job Purpose

This role shall report to the Manager, IT Procurement and is a key member of the IT Procurement and Contract Management team that is committed to deliver excellent service, value and expertise to our internal partners and stakeholders through a managed process for IT Procurement. The successful candidate will be offered a one (1) year contract.

This role is crucial for IT Procurement team to provide support and guidance to IT globally for vendor selection and evaluation activities for each IT spend and contract review in accordance with the guidelines of the company’s policy and guidelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure timely update, accuracy and completeness of electronic procurement approval process and IT Procurement SharePoint site.
• Prepare and support Request for Quote with the requestor including review of RFQ documents.
• Hands-on knowledge of Request for Proposal (RFP) activities and support IT Procurement Manager on the required tasks of each RFP.
• Carry out vendor contract review and negotiation with Finance, Global Risk, Legal, Tax and Treasury.
• Tracks closely on the completion status of each procurement request and contract review.

Vendor Management

My client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Procurement Executive. The role involves supporting procurement operations and providing advisory services to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with government procurement policies and achieving value-for-money outcomes.

This is a 1-year agency contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide procurement advisory and support to divisions on procurement matters and sourcing approaches.

• Prepare and review procurement submissions, including expenditure papers and award recommendation reports.

• Advise stakeholders on procurement specifications, evaluation criteria, and procurement strategies.

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities through GeBIZ, including:

  • Publishing quotations and tenders

  • Awarding contracts

  • Issuing Purchase Orders (PO) and Invoicing Instructions (II)

  • Processing contract variations

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and buying divisions.

• Support the review and enhancement of procurement policies, processes, and governance practices.

• Provide administrative support such as data analysis, conducting procurement clinics/briefings, and other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline.

• At least 4 years of procurement experience, preferably within the public sector.

• Good understanding of Government procurement policies and hands-on experience with GeBIZ transactions.

• Able to multitask and work effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.

• Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with internal divisions.

What you’ll do:

• Engage with a broad range of customers across Asia (ASEAN, GCR, Japan & Korea) to develop a comprehensive understanding of their cyber resiliency and data protection environments from a fresh, pragmatic perspective.

• Employ validated consultative methods to design, implement, and/or remediate solutions related to Modern Data Protection, Multi-Cloud capability, Archive & Compliance, Ransomware/Disaster Recovery, Cyber Resiliency, and Operational Improvement.

• Install and configure Commvault hardware and software according to design specifications to meet customers' technical and business requirements.

• Assess customer readiness to determine if all technical prerequisites have been met to proceed with project phases.

• Execute migration tasks to transition customers from their existing cyber resiliency and data protection solution to the new Commvault based solution.

• Install and configure cyber resiliency and data protection agents to protect customers' applications, databases, data, and hypervisors.

• Collaborate with customers and Commvault technical support and/or development teams to resolve technical issues that may impede project progress.

• Provide regular updates on project progress and obstacles to the Project Manager.

• Complete all necessary documentation associated with client projects in a timely manner, including User Acceptance Test (UAT) Plans and As-Built Documentation.

• Maintain current knowledge of the latest implementation methodologies to ensure optimal and effective project delivery.

Who you are:

• Demonstrable experience as Senior Implementation Specialist with enterprise customer exposure.

• Hands-on Commvault experience; Advanced Commvault Certification (Engineer, or Expert) is highly preferred.
