Tender Leadership: Responsible for all bidding processes for electromechanical projects (especially marine related projects), including quantity surveying, equipment and material price inquiries, subcontractor quotation review, cost calculation, and preparation of commercial pricing proposals.
Solution Optimization: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to compare and optimize technical solutions for electromechanical systems (such as pump sets, piping, instrumentation, electrical and automation) to ensure the bidding proposal is technically feasible and cost-competitive.
Risk Assessment: Identify technical and commercial risks in bidding projects (such as specification differences, exchange rates, construction periods, site conditions, etc.) and develop corresponding strategies in the tender documents.
Supplier Management: Establish and maintain a resource database of local and regional electromechanical equipment suppliers and subcontractors in Singapore, obtaining competitive quotations and technical information.
Tender Document Coordination: Responsible for drafting and integrating technical and commercial tender documents, ensuring compliance with tender documents (RFP/RFQ) and Singapore local regulations (such as BCA, PUB, SP Group).
Client liaison: Participate in bid clarification meetings, Q&A sessions and negotiations, and represent the electromechanical sector to explain technical solutions and cost structures to owners or consulting firms.
