About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Information Technology Support Manager with deep expertise in Oracle UIM to lead solution design, development, and support for telecom OSS/BSS environments. This role focuses on delivering scalable inventory solutions, driving system integration, and ensuring operational excellence across complex enterprise landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
• Translate inventory and business requirements into high-quality technical design documents
• Design and develop Oracle UIM cartridges using Design Studio aligned with defined architecture
• Model logical and physical inventory structures within UIM systems
• Support integration of Oracle UIM with OSS/BSS platforms and third-party systems
• Manage code build, deployment, and release activities across development and testing environments
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize UIM applications, web services, and integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless upstream and downstream system integration
• Provide technical leadership and guidance for delivery, support, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management (UIM)
• Deep knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle ADF, and microservices architecture
• Experience developing UIM cartridges using Oracle Communications Design Studio
• Proven experience in integrating UIM with OSS/BSS and third-party systems
• Knowledge of UIM APIs, rulesets, extension points, and web services (SOAP/REST, JMS)
• Experience with database technologies (Oracle Database, PL/SQL) and Unix environments
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and manage complex technical problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with AWS services and Kubernetes-based deployments
• Understanding of Performance and Fault Management in telecom environments
• Knowledge of Oracle RODOD/RSDOD solutions
• Experience managing service order and engineering order workflows
• Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD practices
• Leadership experience with team coordination and stakeholder engagement
