Work you’ll do

GL Operations/Management/Statutory Reporting

• Oversee financial accounting, reporting, general ledger, fixed assets, audit, and tax to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain the general ledger, manage fixed assets and leases, coordinate month-end closing activities, liaise with the shared service team, and ensure timely submission of management reports in compliance with Southeast Asia Finance (“SEA Finance”) submission timelines.
• Prepare month-end closing reports and schedules promptly.
• Perform analytical reviews of profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and trend analysis.
• Ensure timely collection, review, and reporting of all financial data for the month, including balance sheets, income statements, meeting slides, and other financial documents.
• Maintain detailed records of all company-owned assets, including equipment, vehicles, and property, and manage lease agreements and track asset depreciation.
• Address queries from business units (“BU”) and ensure timely resolution.
• Compile financial information for reporting, analysis, tax, and audit purposes.
• Raise ServiceNow requests to the Shared Service Team ("GFS") for journal postings.
• Review, monitor, and manage the asset lifecycle, including tagging non-IT equipment.
• Ensure accounting and tax compliance with local, statutory, and government requirements.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement of finance processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and implement changes to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Perform ad hoc duties/projects as needed, including supporting new business initiatives and updating finance policies.

Requirements

• A recognized Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA Australia
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Finance.
• Experience using computerised accounting packages such as SAP is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly MS Excel, with a good understanding of basic concepts and the ability to apply them in day-to-day use.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to take on ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned.

Finance Manager(Tech/FS)

About the Role

We are representing our client in search for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing team in Singapore. This role will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations across Singapore and overseas entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, group accounting policies, and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts for Singapore and overseas entities, including expense claim reviews, journal entry preparation and review, month-end closing, and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee accounting activities for overseas entities and review the quality and accuracy of work performed by outsourced accounting service providers.
• Coordinate and support tax filing and compliance matters in Singapore and overseas jurisdictions.
• Maintain day-to-day relationships with local banks, including bank reconciliations, account opening support, KYC documentation, and banking correspondence.
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate annual statutory audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and management explanations.
• Support group management reporting, financial analysis, and compliance requirements.

• Collaborate closely with headquarters to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information in accordance with group accounting policies and reporting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Singapore tax regulations.
• Familiarity with U.S. or Hong Kong tax regulations will be an advantage.
• Singapore CA qualification (completed or in progress), AICPA, HKICPA, or equivalent professional certifications are preferred.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services, FinTech, Technology, or related industries is highly preferred.

Role Overview

Job Description

Board and Office Administration

• Maintenance of OHC's facilities, including workspaces, equipment and supplies. Ensure a clean and organized working environment for staff, locums and clients.

• Update and renew all insurance coverage matters for OHC

• Provide administrative support to the all staff and locums.

• Coordinate board meetings for the board of directors

• Report on financial standing of the OHC during quarterly board meeting

• Record meeting minutes of staff and board meetings

Finance

• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment authorization

• Monitor accounts receivable and provide timely updates and reports to board and management

• Work closely with an outsourced auditor to ensure accurate bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial statements.

• Administer payroll and CPF payments, ensuring accurate and timely payments to staff

• Coordinate and manage banking processes and communication with OHC’s banker

• Provide information for and support the preparation of the annual budget

• Prepare, maintain and submit proper records for staff tax-filing purposes

• Support the development and maintenance of financial policies and controls

• Manage the annual financial audit process

• Support the grant application by providing data required for approved grants

Donor management

• Maintain accurate donor and donation records for decision-making and reporting

• Submit donor records to IRAS to implement tax deduction

Job Requirements

• Candidate should possess at least a Degree in Business Management and / or Finance discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in Charity with IPC status is an added advantage.
