  Successful development and implementation of key strategic initiatives and practices targeted at improving construction, equipment installation and compliance for Micron Technology, Inc., operations globally.
  Provide technical regulatory guidance/advice to the sites, staff, and senior management on construction safety policy and regulatory development matters related to the semiconductor industry.

Legal Advisory & Support

• Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to the business units during the plant construction phase.
• Advising on and mitigating construction related risks including delays, disputes and change orders
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters relevant to the pharmaceutical industry and construction projects, including employment matters.
• Advise on and support the management of commercial disputes and arbitration matters by handling document preservation, evidence compilation, chronology preparation and co-ordination with business teams and external lawyers.
• Liaise with the global legal teams in China, the US, and Europe to ensure alignment with multinational standards and practices.
• Contract Management
• Draft, review, and negotiate construction-related contracts, including contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Provide legal input on project management agreements and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain templates for contracts to standardize and streamline processes.

Commercial Operations

• Support legal aspects of the company’s  operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Assist in establishing policies, processes, and systems for effective risk management and governance.
• Post-construction, manage customer contracts in the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring alignment with industry-specific requirements.
• Provide ongoing support for commercial agreements, including manufacturing agreements, service level agreements, and confidentiality agreements.

Independent Execution

• Take ownership of assigned legal matters and run them independently with minimal supervision, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions such as procurement, operations, compliance and sales.
• Liaise with external counsel on specialized matters when required.
• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognized institution.
• 5–8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a focus on construction, commercial contracts, disputes and/or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Singapore laws and regulations, with exposure to cross-border transactions.
