Role Overview
The Student Supervisor & Mentor plays a central role in guiding students both academically and personally.
Supervisors work closely with students each day to support:
The role involves sustained engagement with students, helping them build habits that lead to long-term success in learning and life.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise students in an individualized learning environment and monitor daily academic progress.
Guide students in goal-setting, planning, and time management.
Maintain a structured classroom environment that promotes discipline, accountability, and focus.
Supervise assessments and review academic work with constructive feedback.
Address behavioral or motivational challenges with professionalism and maturity.
Maintain accurate academic records and documentation in accordance with institutional policies and EduTrust compliance.
Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ academic and behavioral development.
Support school events, student enrichment programs, and community initiatives.
Model exemplary conduct and leadership for students.
Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate both professional competence and maturity appropriate for a supervisory mentoring role.
Preferred qualifications include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, English or a related discipline.
Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
Experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or classroom supervision is advantageous.
Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
Emotional maturity and resilience when guiding and correcting students.
