POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for developing and driving marketing plans, activities, and support for [all/or specific] product lines in the Teleflex Southeast Asia (SEA) region. This role will support sales and marketing activities across the SEA region and will require collaboration between cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· In collaboration with country manager and team, help with the development of the 5-year strategic plan, including supporting the team to execute these strategies and tactics to meet AOP for each given fiscal year.
· Develop, with Sales Management, tactical product rollout plan for the above region.
· Provide product and sales training and support to customer service, product sales representatives, and dealers within SEA region.
· Administer and coordinate the marketing portion of new products, new applications, and product improvements programs, interfacing with physicians, Teleflex country managers, sales staff, external dealers, and R&D.
· Develop monthly sales (unit) forecast for Products.
· Conduct and analyse market surveys, research and evaluation to confirm needs &trends in the market.
· Coordinate and Develop marketing campaigns, including sales promotions, brochures, advertising and public relations, education, and other types of marketing and sales support programs.
· Stay close to the market through regular and scheduled field visit and physician management by developing key relationships with opinions leaders in our region.
· Plan and coordinate KOL events and management in our region.
· Participate in and coordinate major congress for the SEA region.
· Communicates with Upstream Marketing to work together on developing new product marketing strategies or improving the marketing strategies of the current products/product lines
· Partner with Global Marketing team to ensure messaging consistency across the SEA region.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred. Experience will be considered if deemed adequate to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
· Minimum 3-5 years of medical and/or marketing experience
· Has experience in implementing market development strategies and marketing activities.
· Has an awareness of external environment i.e. customers, competitors, government healthcare policies etc
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to diplomatically interact and develop solid working relationships with management, staff and peers
· Excellent customer ethics, good attention to detail and ability to complete timely progress reports according to requirements
