Role Summary
We are seeking a Workday Financial Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and roadmap for our Workday Financial Management ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Financials Core, Accounting & Finance, Business Assets, Supplier Accounts, Customer Accounts, Banking & Settlement, Expenses, Projects, and Prism/Adaptive Planning integrations—while ensuring scalable, secure, compliant, and business‑outcome‑driven solutions. You will partner with Finance leadership (Controllership, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Procurement) and Technology to define target-state architecture, own design standards, govern change, and deliver multi-phased transformation programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7–10+ years implementing or architecting Workday Financials (or equivalent experience at a
global enterprise/consultancy).
- Hands-on design experience with at least 4 of the
following: Core Financials, Banking & Settlement, Supplier/Customer
Accounts, Fixed Assets, Projects, Expenses, Consolidations, Tax,
Reporting/Prism, Adaptive Planning.
- Strong integration architecture exposure (Workday Studio, EIB,
Core Connectors, API patterns, SFTP, bank formats).
- Demonstrated leadership of multi-entity, multi-currency implementations;
understanding of IFRS/US GAAP and statutory reporting.
- Experience designing COA, dimensions, and allocation
models; end-to-end close processes and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Workday security, SoD design, and
audit/SOX-aligned controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems,
or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Financial Management,
Adaptive Planning, Prism Analytics, Studio).
- Background in Big 4 or top-tier consultancy; experience with
shared services, global process ownership, or finance transformation.
- Experience with eInvoicing mandates, global tax engines,
and bank connectivity networks.
- Exposure to Revenue processes (ASC 606/IFRS 15) and Consolidations/intercompany
eliminations.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and DevOps for Workday
(Jira/Azure DevOps, automated testing, configuration-as-artifact).
