Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair heavy machinery and construction equipment and related systems, using hand tools, machine tools, and measuring instruments.
- Need to inspect, diagnose and fix faults in the diesel engines/ heavy equipment
- manage repair services , including oil changes, lubrication, parts replacement, hose repair and battery replacement
- Keeping track of repairs, maintenance and servicing record.
- Attend breakdowns on-site.
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience working with repairs and maintenance of engines / heavy construction equipment.
- Good knowledge of heavy equipment parts and hydraulic system, electrical systems, fuel systems
- Able to read parts manual and operation manuals, schematic diagrams and identify problem.
- Organized and ability to communicate effectively
- Class 3 license a plus but not necessary.
- Willing to work overtime
- Willing to work in outdoor conditions
- Must have hands-on experience in machinery maintenance and repair.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience as a machinery mechanic
- Knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is an advantage.
- Proactive and able to work independently
