Our client is a global finance MNC and a subsidiary of one of Asia's conglomerates and operates across multiple financial services sectors, including insurance, asset management, and securities. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Business Development Manager (Finance) to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central Region.
The Business Development Manager (Finance) will be responsible for:
Deal-sourcing capabilities and an established network within the digital asset ecosystem. The successful candidate will identify investment opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and support the company's growth initiatives across Southeast Asia while collaborating closely with stakeholders in South Korea.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop digital asset strategies, define project objectives, timelines, and execution plans.
- Identify potential investors and business opportunities, and develop targeted marketing and communication strategies.
- Support and coordinate the issuance and distribution of digital assets while ensuring appropriate operational controls and security measures are implemented.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, business partners, and other stakeholders within the digital asset ecosystem, responding to enquiries and providing relevant information.
- Manage post-issuance activities, including secondary market coordination and ongoing investor relations.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance with applicable regulatory and governance requirements.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on investment opportunities and communicate project updates to regional stakeholders, including the headquarters team in South Korea.
- Monitor market developments and industry trends to identify new business opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience in the financial services, digital assets, investment, or related industry.
- Professional proficiency in English is required. Professional proficiency in Korean (spoken and written) is required to communicate effectively with Korean-speaking stakeholders and headquarters.
- Relevant CMFAS certifications, including RES1A/RES1B, RES4, and CM-EIP/CM-SIP.
- Good understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and security tokens.
- Experience in asset management, private wealth management, or related investment activities is advantageous.
- Exposure to planning or executing security token offerings or similar fundraising initiatives is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive strategic business initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
