Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be part of the WD Integration Team to deliver integration enhancements and support defect fixing requests.

• As a professional Workday Integration Consultant and Developer, deliver comprehensive end-to-end integration solutions aligned with industry best practices. A collaborative team player who works seamlessly within team and across cross-functional teams to drive impactful delivery outcomes.

• Comprehend Workday Integrations from multiple endpoint systems, as well as holistic interchange services, rendering effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital information.

• Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating Workday cloud application with external applications across HR, Finance, and other interfacing applications/areas, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation across variable factors.

• Engage, analyse, design, build, test and deploy Workday Integration including Studio, EIB, and supplement with any 3rd party coding.

• Develop BIRT reports using Eclipse IDE.

• Basic understanding of the Security Configuration and Business Process setup is a must.

• Experience in writing Unix scripts, knowledge on Connect Direct, Control-M job scheduling and SFTP protocol are added advantages.

• Perform System Development Methodology (SDM) processes and prepare delivery artefacts.

• Perform impact assessment and effort estimation, support upgrades, changes and modifications, including evaluation of Workday releases.

• Represent team in meetings, engage users and finalize requirements, provide concise summary write-up with action items, assignees and timeline.

• Prepare concise functional specifications and detailed WD integration workbook, conduct walkthrough and obtain sign-off.

• Prepare, execute and cross review SIT test plan with detailed test scenarios, data and test results.

• Track delivery progression and timely follow-up with counterparts and stakeholders. Demonstrate diligent monitoring and timely status reporting.

• Provide appropriate and timely escalation for status progression. Forecasting sufficient turnaround time and alert for any potential delay or impact to ensure timely and quality delivery.

• Ensure completeness and quality of deliverables and artefacts throughout delivery processes and for smooth SDM quality assurance assessments, eliminating overheads for any remediation.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Workday Integration development.

Mandatory Skills Description:

Responsibilities

1. Application Design & Development

a. Responsible to analyse, design and develop application components based on functional and non-functional requirements.

b. Collaborate with Functional Business Analysts and System Analysts to clarify business rules, process flows, integrations, and technical impacts.

c. Define and ensure traceability from technical design specifications to business and functional requirements.

d. Develop high-quality code following established development standards, security guidelines, and architectural frameworks.

2. Technical Build & Implementation

a. Translate technical designs into efficient, maintainable code across Java, SQL, scripting and batch processes.
