PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION

The Event & Casual Leasing function drives footfall, commercial vibrancy, and short-term leasing revenue by optimising promotional spaces, event areas, and advertising panels within the mall. The function supports overall business performance by enhancing customer experience, increasing tenant sales opportunities, and ensuring operational excellence in line with MyTOWN commercial strategy.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible

• Source and secure short-term tenants for promotional spaces, push carts, storage space and common areas.
• Attend to enquiries and manage bookings for advertising panels and promotional spaces.
• Prepare proposals, booking forms, and related leasing documentation in accordance with SOP.
• Coordinate event setup and dismantling in compliance with approved demarcation plans.
• Ensure event spaces are presentable, safe, and operationally ready.
• Monitor rental billing and follow up on collection of promotional space rentals.
• Maintain accurate records and filing of leasing documents.
• Build and maintain relationships with tenants, vendors, and event organizers.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with mall guidelines.
• Identify and execute leasing opportunities aligned with peak trading activities

Accountable

• Achievement of assigned revenue targets for event and casual leasing spaces.
• Accuracy and compliance of leasing documentation and processes.
• Timely coordination and execution of approved events and promotional activities.
• Proper management of allocated promotional spaces to maximise utilisation.
• Ensuring adherence to mall policies, safety requirements, and operational standards.

Contribute

• Provide input to leasing strategy and pricing recommendations.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Marketing & Customer Engagement Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of customer-focused marketing initiatives that strengthen brand engagement, drive customer loyalty, and contribute to commercial growth. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, the specialist will execute targeted marketing activities, support customer engagement programs, and help translate business priorities into meaningful interactions that increase brand affinity, customer retention, and visitation across online and offline channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

• Support the planning and execution of customer engagement and marketing initiatives that strengthen customer relationships, increase brand affinity, and drive repeat visitation and purchases.
• Support the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless execution across digital, social, in-store, and other customer touchpoints.
• Coordinate campaign assets, timelines, and stakeholder requirements to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and according to plan.
• Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to support campaign delivery and customer engagement objectives.
• Assist in the development of campaign briefs, communication plans, and post-campaign evaluations.
• Prepare regular reports and insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and customer engagement performance.
• Support testing and learning initiatives to improve engagement, recruitment, retention, and customer experience outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, E-commerce, Sales, Customer Experience, Communications, and Store teams to deliver customer engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Support administrative processes including purchase orders, budget tracking, campaign documentation, and project coordination.

• Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, 
journals, and accounts payable/receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company 
policies and regulations.

• Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets.

• Invoice Processing: Assist in the preparation, verification, and processing of invoices.

• Expense Management: Ensure timely and accurate receipt and payment of all bills and 
invoices. Prepare and process expense reports and ensure proper documentation and 
approval. Ensure accuracy of GL and timely accruals.

• Reconciliation: Perform daily sales reconciliation and statement posting. Assist in bank 
reconciliation, and any required reconciliation from time to time.

• Document Management: Maintain up-to-date and organized records and files of financial 
documents. 

• Communication: Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve account 
discrepancies and issues.

• Compliance and Audits: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure 
compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with internal and external audits as 
needed.

• Administrative: Manage administrative purchases for the store. Provide administrative 
support to the store as needed and assist with special projects as assigned.

• Store Performance: Contribute with input and provide expertise to the BNOM to enable 
performance.
