Key Responsibilities includes but not limited to,

Operations

• Manage and operate security systems (Security, Health and Safety Portal, CCTV, intrusion alarm, access control, etc.). 
• Coordinate timely completion of outstanding Security Corrective Actions / Preventive Actions with appropriate parties and communicate issues to the District Manager and Regional Security Manager/Director. 
• Be a part of the District Business Review meeting to discuss security-related issues, concerns, and best practices. 
• Coach employees and management on how to complete incident reporting per the Security Incident Reporting Standard. 
• Take the lead on all district security incident investigations, in coordination with Regional and CHQ Security. 
• Support Business Continuity Plan development and testing. 
• Supporting full implementation of Expeditors Health and Safety Standards. 
• Educating colleagues and Service Providers regarding safety to enhance an overall culture of safety in the face of potential resistance. 
• Supervise a group of outsourced security personnel in daily security operations.
• Serving as key point of contact for Operational Process Standards. 
• Managing Security, Health and Safety resources and tools (ex. the Portal). 
• Delivering Security, Health and Safety training (instructor-led courses).

Scope of Position

The District Sales Operations role supports all Business Development efforts in the district. 

Reports to District Sales Manager

Key Deliverables

Sales Support

• Support and attend weekly district sales meetings
• Manage and distribute sales leads
• Organize Sales training sessions for your district
• Manage company visitors and arrange meeting schedules with sales team

Reporting

• Deliver reporting on a frequent basis to support sales initiatives and data integrity
• Local expert and advocate of Sales Enablement tools

Bids

• Facilitate bid organization and responses for region’s bid owners (Executive summaries, qualitative responses, formatting, deadline management, accuracy of response, etc.)

Events

Marketing

Scope of Position

Assist Manager and Supervisor with all aspects of the Air Export Department, while ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight, while providing exceptional customer service.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Operations

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Prepare various documents for international transportation
• Coordinate and negotiate rates with our contracted vendors in procuring space and services
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
• Interact with our customers in arranging their international export shipments, meeting customer service standards
• Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies / requirements
• Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed as per the DLSOP
• Work with the team on meeting KPI standards, as per the company's procedures
• Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction
• Overseas communications

Support the supervisor in the following areas:

• Daily review operational reports and work with team on updating event codes
• Audit files and work with the team on meeting operating process standards
• Build and maintaining strong relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking companies, and others) and customers
• Evaluate vendors at defined intervals per company policy, focusing on areas of possible improvements with corrective action plans where needed

Finances

• Proactively work to maintain and monitor accounts payment within 30 days
• Ensure company credit procedures are followed and utilized effectively
• Accurate and timely billing of vendors and resolve accounting issues
• Monitor accounts payable to vendors (airlines, truckers etc.) utilizing BNP report
• Monitor intercompany accounting discrepancies via AJAX report

Sales / Retention

• Assist the manager and supervisor in timely responding to requests for information and with market competitive pricing matching the scope of service required by the customer
• Participate to the transition of new business/ updates to existing business
• Assist in retention calls and complete customer reviews with your regular customers to document in the CRS

People

• Identify with manager / supervisor, develop, and mentor your No. 2

The focus of the District Sales Executive (DSE) is on achieving results that are aligned with the overall organization and it's strategic goals. Key Deliverables

These are the minimum results expected from a successful District Sales Executive:

• Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area
• Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool
• Orchestrate customer / branch relationships and collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources
• Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer's logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations
• Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork. When needed, support AR (accounts receivable) collection.
• Attend training & development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge
• Involvement in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager
• Take on additional assignments as required, supporting company needs

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and manage AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) declarations with Royal Malaysian Customs
• Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow for import and export customs declarations
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Custom files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client billing
• Understand all the elements of the import and export customs Desk Level Operating Procedure and correctly interpret this information to fulfill our customers instructions and expectations.
• Transfer customs declaration information from documents, or other sources into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
• Assist with verification of customs declaration information and the submission of such to the customs authority
• Ensure compliance at all times to regulations 

Develop, maintain, and manage Expeditors world-wide activity with one of our industry-leading, top global customers to achieve optimum business retention and development. Ensure that customer's cross-functional and geographical operational requirements are proactively identified and serviced. Act?as the chief revenue growth champion and orchestrator for global strategic business planning and execution by leveraging global relationships, your industry knowledge, and Expeditors product, geo, and service leadership.
