About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Sonographer to join our clinic team. This hybrid role combines ultrasound imaging with front-desk reception and customer service responsibilities. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality diagnostic scans, provide excellent patient care, and support smooth daily clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Ultrasound & Clinical
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and produce accurate, high-quality images.
Identify urgent or abnormal findings and escalate promptly to physicians.
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for examinations.
Maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure servicing, cleanliness, and proper use.
Document and provide preliminary reports for physician review.
Reception & Customer Service
Greet patients warmly and provide a professional, welcoming experience.
Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and rescheduling.
Handle phone, email, and in-person enquiries with professionalism.
Assist patients with registration, billing, and scheduling follow-up visits.
Support clinic administration and ensure smooth front-office operations.
Teamwork & Compliance
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff for timely results and patient care.
Train and guide junior staff or interns when needed.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Ultrasound / Diagnostic Medical Sonography (or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years of ultrasound imaging experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and colleagues.
Customer-service mindset with good organizational skills.
Ability to balance both clinical and administrative duties.
Diploma/Degree in Sonography or Medical Imaging Science.
AHPC registration if available.
Able to start immediately or within short notice
