This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager to join our Queensland Real Estate Management Services (REMS) team and be part of a diverse workforce. Based in our Brisbane CBD office, you will support a team of property managers for the service delivery and financial performance of a commercial and industrial portfolio. This key role will build strong relationships with the portfolio team and landlord to ensure that business objectives are met and expectations are exceeded.

You will successfully achieve this by:

• Manage daily tenants matters, respond to all incoming requests, assist in resolving issues.
• Implement and maintain orderly lease administration, financial management procedures and overall reporting, including monitoring of all statutory and operational charges and expenses.
• Control the collection and reconciliation of monies, including rentals, outgoings, and recoverable costs in conjunction with strict arrears management practices.
• Liaise with Property Managers to co-ordinate and prepare operating budgets, involving other key stakeholders in annual budget development where relevant.
• Facilitate processing of invoices, raising work orders and managing debtors.

You will be exposed to and perform detailed valuations on a range of asset classes including commercial and industrial, in addition to undertaking development feasibility and market research.

Some of your key duties:

• Contribute to the preparation of valuation reports, providing clear insights into property values and associated risks.
• Assist with on-site property inspections to verify physical property attributes and site conditions, as well as analyse local comparable sales and leasing evidence to support valuation assessments.
• Attend client and industry functions to interact with clients and gain market/business knowledge as well as expand your professional network.
• Assist in the preparation of fee proposals for various valuations across multiple asset classes.
• Assist with data collection (e.g. sales/leasing deals) to keep updated databases for valuation purposes.
• Conduct financial, market and risk analysis across multiple asset classes in order to support valuations.
• Maintain data for properties under supervision.
• Ensure valuations comply with internal quality assurance processes and reporting standards.

We are looking for a Water & Wastewater Designer to join our expanding Brisbane team and work on some of the region’s most high-profile land development and infrastructure projects. This role offers exposure to diverse, technically challenging design work and the opportunity to contribute to projects that directly support population growth, community needs and long-term sustainability. 

The Water & Wastewater team deliver exclusively large scale, complex, trunk infrastructure, generally working on the planning, design and construction of sewer and water mains from DN375 and up, reservoirs, sewer pump stations, and water pump stations for some of the largest utilities in Australia.

This role offers exposure to varied and complex assignments, where you will be responsible for analysing sales and leasing evidence, preparing cash flow models, and producing timely, accurate valuation reports for our clients.

In this role, you will:

• Undertake HRL valuation instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Collect, extract and analyse comparable sales and leasing evidence
• Prepare detailed valuation reports in line with professional and client standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
• Attend client meetings and industry events to strengthen market knowledge and client engagement
• Collaborate with other Collier’s business units by identifying and referring opportunities
• Support the local Director through the achievement of individual revenue targets
