This position is designed for a skilled software engineer with deep expertise in manufacturing environments. At the core of this role is the active, hands-on programming of the critical interfaces that drive our production. Acting as a key link to our central department in Germany, you will be responsible for translating strategic objectives into robust software and optimized manufacturing processes. Core Responsibilities

• Hands-On Software Development: Take direct ownership of the practical programming, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical software interfaces, particularly between our MES and SAP systems. 
• Manufacturing Process Conception & Optimization: Leverage your extensive, multi-year manufacturing experience to design, analyze, and continuously optimize material flow and factory control processes.
• Execution of Centralized Goals: In close collaboration with the team in Germany, you will take ownership of strategic goals and be responsible for translating them directly into technical solutions for our global production network.

• Overall responsibility of Bosch semiconductor product and lead plant-specific simultaneous engineering team consisting of test engineer, process engineers for:
  • achieving quality, cost, delivery targets. Implementation of cost saving measures.
  • achieving yield targets, analyzing conspicuous lots and defining further actions for the lots
• Participation in lead-plant engineering meetings, discussions and stand in for plant specific interests. Reporting on plant specific topics and KPIs regarding products.
• Ensure implementation and coordination of product and process new product releases and related changes.
• Ensure ramp-up / ramp-down of products, including engineering trials and sample production.
• Responsible for Test data analysis, statistical analysis for yield improvement, lot evaluation and evaluation of customer returns. Root cause analysis of failure parts.
• Analysis of issues related to product and test system combinations.
• Issuing concessions, risk assessments, engineering change requests in cooperation with leadplant. Responsible for plant specific product documents.
• In case of quality issues, responsible for implementation of containments, root cause analysis and definition/implementation of corrective actions.
• Participation in Cost Savings Meetings.
• Responsible for the whole process chain of a product.
• Definition of criteria for active lots of release in cooperation with leadplant.
• Coaching/Training of Operators.

• Develop and optimize burn-in test procedures for semiconductor devices, components, or systems.
• Support on Designing burn-in boards, fixtures, and test hardware.
• Analyze burn-in data to identify failure trends and root causes.
• Define burn-in conditions (temperature, voltage, duration, stress levels) according to product requirements.
• Troubleshoot hardware and process issues in burn-in operations.
• Support qualification and reliability testing (HTOL, HAST, temperature cycling, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (JEDEC, MIL-STD, IPC).
• Automate data collection and reporting for yield and reliability analysis.
• Develop, program, and optimize AOI inspection programs for PCB assemblies.
• Set up and maintain AOI equipment (2D/3D inspection systems).
• Analyze defect data and improve detection capability while reducing false rejects.
• Troubleshoot AOI hardware, software, and vision-related issues.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by creating AOI programs and validation plans.
• Monitor AOI performance metrics (FPY, false call rate, escape rate).
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cost, cycle time, and failure rates.
• Responsible for pre-acceptance and release machines incl. support in setup, fine tuning, sustaining and maintenance.
• Mechanical, electrical alignment of the equipment according to supplier specification

  • Run test program with first part and check contact

• Observe yield of running measurement and initiate measures in case of drop down right in time, involve other support functions

Interface Role:

• Serve as the critical link between all involved parties Quality, Test Development, Test Engineering, Equipment Engineering, etc.

Test Cell Troubleshooting:

• Act as the first level support for instabilities and issues with first series, non/pre -series processes during ramp up and qualification measurements on Advantest V93k testers and Cohu Delta Matrix handlers

Proactive Problem Solving:

• Identify, apply, and document solutions and workarounds for recurring issues to ensure high data quality and efficiency.

Act as the key local expert and lead user for planning-relevant master data, ensuring high consistency, quality and reliability of data used in Blue Yonder to support holistic planning of the semiconductor production network.

Serve as a critical interface between business, specialty departments, IT, and external IT service providers, driving further development, stabilization and continuous improvement of master data and planning IT solutions.

Utilize cost advantages of LCL.

• Drive end‑to‑end planning master-data quality and governance, ensuring reliable, usable data across business functions
• Act as technical lead for analytics and data solutions (Power BI, SQL Oracle/MSSQL, KNIME, databases, web/UI tools)
• Responsible for maintenance and enhancement of master data applications and UIs (e.g. Tivity) aligned with business needs

What You Will Do:

• Align Demand & Supply: Translate customer forecasts into concrete logistics requirements, planning inbound raw material arrivals and outbound delivery schedules.

System & Application Ownership

• Act as the Key User / System Owner for critical logistics IT systems, including:
  • SAP S/4HANA (with a focus on MM, SD, WM/EWM modules)
  • Warehouse Management Systems (EWM)
