Job Description

- Position Title: Deputy Project Manager / Construction Manager
- Working Location: Central (Walk distance from MRT)
- Working Hours: 5 Days/ 5.5 Days, 44 hours per week
- Salary Package: Basic Salary + Allowances + AWS + Variable bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and enhancement of construction methodologies, execution plans, and work sequencing strategies for tender submissions and project implementation.
- Assess tender documents, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and geotechnical reports to identify potential construction challenges, limitations, and opportunities.
- Formulate practical, safe, and economically viable construction approaches that are technically feasible and efficiently executable.
- Prepare method statements, construction phasing plans, temporary works schemes, and technical proposal documentation.
- Develop detailed construction schedules, manpower and resource plans, equipment allocation strategies, and marine logistics arrangements to maximize project efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, construction, and commercial teams to ensure alignment between construction methodology, project schedule, budget, and risk management objectives.
- Contribute to value engineering initiatives and alternative construction solutions to enhance project competitiveness and cost effectiveness.
- Provide technical and method engineering support during project execution and assist in resolving site-related construction issues.
- Document project experiences and best practices, and drive continuous improvement of construction methodologies and processes across the organization.

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in marine works, MRT projects, deep excavation, geotechnical engineering, or large-scale infrastructure developments.
- Strong background in construction methodology development, project planning, and site execution.
- Demonstrated ability to design practical, buildable, and cost-efficient construction solutions.
- Well-versed in construction sequencing, temporary works design, marine logistics coordination, equipment utilization planning, and productivity optimization techniques.
- Prior involvement in projects with agencies such as LTA, HDB, MPA, PSA, or other public sector organizations will be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills.
- Capable of working autonomously while effectively coordinating with multidisciplinary teams in both tendering and project delivery environments.
