Role Overview:

The L2 IT Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and field services. This role involves installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows OS, hardware, and software. The engineer will collaborate with various teams, manage assets, and ensure smooth operations for end-user computing (EUC) environments. The scope also includes vendor coordination, asset disposal, and conference room health checks.

Lease Management, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting

• Ensure close process and reconciliations for leases are completed on a timely basis.

• Preparation of standard monthly reconciliations and journal entries to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements.

• Abstraction of financial data for new, modified and existing leases in Co-Star.

• Preparation of amortisation schedules from Co-Star.

• Preparation of standard journals to record asset & liability adjustments from Co-Star amortisation schedule.

• Preparation of sundry invoices for sublease income.

• Preparation of listing of all leases for corporate filing requirements.

• Preparation of standard other real estate related cost entries (e.g. service charges, utilities, business rates, dilapidations).

• Preparation of quarterly gross-up for Equipment asset & liability adjustments.

Auditing and Compliance Monitoring

• Liaise with internal auditors and ensure compliance with relevant local regulatory requirements.

• Ensure compliance with lease related SOX narratives and control documentation.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement changes that generate efficiencies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Ensure existing systems (Oracle, CoStar, BlackLine) are optimised and identify new technology opportunities.

This role sits at the centre of our Business Line operations, providing critical support across reporting, governance, and strategic planning. Working closely with the RBLL, Growth Director, and Sector leadership, you will manage global and local reporting requirements, coordinate key governance forums (QBRs, MBRs), and track progress against growth and operational objectives. You will also play an important role in shaping Business Line communications, coordinating town halls, and partnering with the BL Executive Assistant to ensure consistent and high-quality execution across the team.

How you’ll make a difference

• Prepare accurate and timely global and local business line reports, compile and analyse performance data, and maintain a centralised repository for documents, registers, and reporting tools (e.g., App Matrix, SOFT Reports, Salesforce, Workbench).
• Manage inputs and logistics for QBRs, MBRs, and governance meetings; drive and attend key business line meetings and ensure timely follow-up on actions and decisions.
• In conjunction with the SPM, support client, market, and pursuit reporting; track progress against growth, market, and operational objectives; and assist in the delivery of strategic initiatives and business plans.
• Work closely with the RBLL, Growth Director, and Sector leadership to deliver high-quality reporting and strategic initiatives; collaborate with ANZ Strategy & Growth, Finance, P&C, and other enabling functions to streamline data flows.
• Draft and edit business line communications including LinkedIn content, plan and execute Business Line town halls, and provide day-to-day administrative support in partnership with the BL Executive Assistant and Administrative Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

AP Helpdesk Operations

• Primary point of contact for vendor and internal AP-related queries via ticketing tools, email, or phone

• Handle escalated and complex AP issues such as invoice discrepancies, payment delays, duplicate payments, and account reconciliations

• Ensure accurate and timely resolution of queries within defined SLAs

Query Resolution & Analysis

• Analyze root causes of recurring issues and recommend corrective actions

• Track, monitor, and report helpdesk metrics including turnaround time, backlog, and resolution rates

• Maintain detailed documentation of issues and resolutions

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Communicate effectively with vendors, procurement, finance, and business teams

• Provide clear explanations of AP processes, payment cycles, and policy requirements

• Build strong relationships to improve vendor satisfaction and reduce query volumes

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, and company policies

The role will be responsible for supporting end-to-end project accounting life cycle activities for assigned accounts and projects. The role will be involved with stakeholder coordination to execute processes that will drive the completion of assigned projects.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform routine and assigned tasks that support ongoing projects in compliance with the contract, service level agreement, define methodologies, and procedures.
• Assist in reviewing projects for accurate revenue recognition. 
• Support data gathering and report generation requirements to support various reporting requirements for each project.
