Job Summary
The Billing Account Assistant is responsible for supporting operations teams by managing invoicing, verifying shipment charges, and maintaining accurate billing records. This role ensures timely and accurate billing for freight forwarding services, and helps resolve billing discrepancies with clients and internal departments.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and issue invoices for logistics and freight forwarding services
Verify shipment details, rates, and supporting documents before billing Coordinate with operations, and clients, agents on billing matters Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and shipment records
Assist on others task if needed
Requirements:
Minimum O level with 1 to 2 years experience in logistics or freight forwarding Familiarity with billing, invoicing, and account handling
Good attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic knowledge of billing, invoicing, and accounting practices
Familiarity with freight documentation (e.g., invoices, delivery orders, bills of lading) is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
