- Work in a team-oriented environment that values your initiative and reliability
- Be part of an essential industry — marine supply is a cornerstone of Singapore's trade and economy
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver cum Boarding Officer to join our operations team. You will play a hands-on, critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to vessels, coordinating across teams and managing on-ground logistics at the port.
What You'll Do
- Report to the Operations Manager daily to review assigned delivery schedules and cases
- Board vessels to verify that goods delivered match customer specifications, checked against the Delivery Order (D/O)
- Account for goods transported via trucks and boats using the W6 form, ensuring full traceability to the final vessel destination
- Drive delivery vehicles when schedules and your licensing permit
- Supervise workers and subcontractors during loading and unloading on supply boats and vessels, maintaining proper goods-handling standards at all times
- Ensure quality of goods is not compromised during transfers (truck to supply boat, truck to vessel, or supply boat to vessel)
- Attend to and resolve issues raised by the vessel's Master or Officers, coordinating with operations, warehouse, sales, and purchasing teams via instant messaging (e.g. WhatsApp)
- Verify that product certificates have been received by the vessel's Master or Officers, and follow up with purchasers on any discrepancies
Who We're Looking For
- Singaporean Citizen, Permanent Resident, Dependent Pass (DP) holder, or Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) holder
- Valid Singapore Class 4 Driving License — this is a mandatory requirement for all applicants
- Comfortable working in port environments and boarding vessels
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable, responsible attitude
- Good communication skills — able to coordinate confidently with vessel crew and internal teams
- Able to work independently and stay calm under time-sensitive situations
- Prior experience in logistics, port operations, or the marine industry is an advantage, but not required — we provide on-the-job training
