Overview:

We are hiring for a Supply Planning Specialist to support end-to-end supply planning, with a strong focus on TikTok and Shopify channels, while providing procurement support across our global matcha business. The role involves close coordination with suppliers in China and Japan, as well as cross-functional internal teams, to ensure the timely sourcing of matcha, packaging materials, and accessories. Its core objective is to drive optimal matcha procurement decisions and provide timely communication on inbound shipments to external stakeholders, maintaining consistent stock availability across all markets.

Role Description

· Forecast the amount of matcha to procure on Tiktok and Shopify and assist in the monthly procurement process of ordering of matcha based on historical sales data

· Maintain accurate matcha accessories inventory and packaging components inventory from service providers in China and matcha supply from suppliers in Japan

· Procurement of matcha accessories (e.g., whisks, spoons) and components (e.g., cans, stickers, labels, sachets) from China to Singapore and USA

· Track and update inbound shipment statuses from various suppliers to 3rd party warehouse service providers

· Support the Supply Planning Associate in maintaining and coordinating supplier relationships in Japan, including follow-ups on supply planning and procurement matters

· Work with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate supplier invoice matching to price of raw materials

· Work with the e-commerce team to support improvements in supply chain reporting, procurement tracking, and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA / BBM), Supply Chain, or related discipline

· 0-1 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain operations, or vendor coordination will be a plus

· This is an entry-level role suitable for candidates who are looking to build a foundation in supply planning and procurement, and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

· Strong Excel skills; familiarity with inventory or ERP systems preferred

· Experience working with Chinese and Japanese suppliers is a plus

· Conversational Mandarin or Japanese is a plus

· Detail-oriented, structured, and dependable in handling operational follow-ups and reporting tasks

Expected Salary Range (Per Month): $3,500 - $4,500

Summary of the Role:

As an Import/Export Analyst, Supply Chain, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of import transactions, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and properly maintained. You will coordinate with buyers and 3PL providers to track shipments, facilitate customs clearance, process import permits, maintain records, and support daily reporting and cross-functional operations to ensure efficient and uninterrupted import activities.

Key Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:

• Handle end-to-end import transactions and ensure accurate, compliant documentation.
• Coordinate with buyers and 3PL to monitor shipment status and ensure smooth customs clearance.
• Verify purchase orders and maintain accurate records for all related systems.
• Prepare and process import permits through the e-IP system.
• Monitor, update, and distribute daily import status reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain proper filing and record-keeping for audit and compliance purposes.
• Support the Supervisor and other departments to ensure efficient and uninterrupted import operations.

As a Sr. Analyst-Supply Chain, you will be responsible for monitoring key supply chain parameters, optimizing and securing sufficient materials to enable GlobalFoundries manufacturing with an uninterrupted supply of materials and controlling stock obsolescence.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaison between internal stakeholders in a daily huddle series (Central Planning, Buyer Work Center, Material Management) to identify areas where action needs to be taken for supply concerns 
• Participate and support the Crisis Supply Incident Response Team when Geopolitical, Natural Disaster, or any other supply interruptions occur around the world 
• Work closely with the Manufacturing team to investigate required materials to support manufacturing requirements which include NPI, phase in & phase out activities
• Monitor and report on variances between forecasted vs actual consumption. Root cause analysis on various causes, while leveraging stakeholders to mitigate shortage/excess issues.
• Enable an exception handling process to monitor Supply for non-POR situations
• Schedule meetings between Quality, Sourcing, GSM, Central planning, and Buyer Work Center to ensure a clear message and action plan is enabled for supply concerns

Other Responsibilities 

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications

• A degree holder in Supply Chain / Science / Engineering
• Around 5 years of purchasing experience preferably handling direct materials or parts in a semiconductor environment
• Familiar with MRP and Inventory Planning methods
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel Preferred
• Previous experience in semiconductor industry a plus
