Job Summary

MiRXES Lab seeks a Research Officer to join our Technology Development team, whose focus is to translate our research into robust clinical diagnostic assays.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Development and optimization of clinical diagnostic tests based on molecular technology e.g. RT-PCR, isothermal amplification, NGS (~90% wet lab time)
• Specific applications of molecular technology in miRNA, DNA methylation, mutations as well as pathogens of interest e.g EBV, HPV
• Explore new technologies to meet/exceed current clinical requirements on diagnostics tests.

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

. Oversee and manage daily operation activities.

· Perform quality controls and monitor production

· Train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees

· Find ways to increase quality of customer service

· Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that products are available when needed

· Ensuring that products are stored properly to eliminate spoilage or damage

· Reviewing sales reports on a regular basis to identify opportunities for inventory turnover or markdowns

· Setting up computerized inventory tracking systems to monitor product sales and inventory levels

· Responsible for the productivity and efficiency of the operations in the warehouse.

· Implement HSE system in the work environment.

· Manage storage and materials handling duties related to the warehouse.

· Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote products and increase sales volume

· Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings

· Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant

· Resolve employees' disciplinary issues and outlet manpower needs.

· Develop a sound and strong working relationship with all outlet staff and to develop their maximum potential.

· Work closely with GM and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.

· Bilingual to liaise with English and Chinese speaking associates

· Any other related operational issues and projects as and when required.

Requirements and skills

· Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role

· Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

· Experience budgeting and forecasting

· Excellent communication skills

· Leadership ability

· Outstanding organisational skills

· Good problem solver and self-confidence in decision making.

· Leadership with strong influential and coaching skills.

· Strong inter-personal skills and to lead by example with hands-on approach.

· Ensure completion of all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.

Role Summary

As an R&D Engineer (Multimodal AI Agents), you will lead the development of next-generation AI agents capable of perceiving, reasoning, and acting within real-world graphical user interfaces. You will work at the intersection of Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Reinforcement Learning to transform cutting-edge research into scalable, production-ready systems for Android and cross-platform environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and optimize Large Multimodal Models (LMMs) for GUI understanding, including screen parsing, grounding, and action prediction
• Build end-to-end agent pipelines covering perception, planning, reasoning, and execution loops across dynamic UI environments
• Track, reproduce, and improve cutting-edge research in GUI agents (e.g., DroidRun, Surfer, AutoGLM) and adapt them to real-world use cases
• Develop robust evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance, reliability, and safety in complex software environments
• Translate research concepts into working prototypes and production-ready systems with strong engineering rigor
• Contribute to patents, technical publications, and internal knowledge building aligned with company innovation goals

How will you stand out:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related field
• Demonstrated research or technical impact through publications, open-source contributions, or significant projects -- (Please include a link to your Google Scholar profile or portfolio in your application)
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in large-scale model training, data processing, and system implementation
• Solid understanding of Vision-Language Models, Transformer architectures, or multimodal learning systems
• Familiar with agent optimization or training techniques, such as Reinforcement Learning (e.g., PPO, RLHF) and agent evaluation frameworks or benchmarking environments
• Experience in UI understanding tasks, such as object detection and OCR
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX
