Responsibilities

We’re looking for a QA / Test Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of complex systems. This role will drive testing strategy, automation, and defect management across the full development lifecycle.

• Plan and execute end-to-end testing across system components;
• Analyse requirements and design comprehensive test strategies and test cases;
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts;
• Prepare and manage test environments and test data;
• Execute functional, integration, and performance testing;
• Track, manage, and resolve defects through to closure;
• Perform root cause analysis and improve test coverage and processes;
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery;
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline;
• Experience in software testing and/or test automation;
• Familiarity with scripting or programming for automation;
• Understanding of SDLC and testing lifecycle;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Proven working experience in test delivery orequivalent role with at least 10 to 15 years relevant experience in large andcomplex organisations preferably in the area of Banking and Finance and atleast 5 years’ senior manager experience in testing.

·        Extensive experience in managing end to enddelivery of testing services from multiple vendor test service providers.

·        Proven experience in testing standards, tools,processes & methodologies, frameworks, and various delivery methodologiese.g. Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall, DevOps.

·        A proven, successful track record of managingshared IT service development and/ or IT Testing Services.

·        Demonstrated success in developing highlyeffective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders todeliver collaboration, partnerships and services.

·        Strong attention to details, excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Experience in managing multiple externaltesting service providers.

·        Experience in managing multi-cultural, diverse,direct and virtual teams.

·        Must display a high level of professionaljudgment, commitment, integrity, and teamwork.

·        Excellent client facing, internalcommunications, written and verbal communication skills.

Testingor quality certifications, PMP certifications, ISTBQ and Test Maturity Modelintegration (TMMi) Framework awareness will be preferred
