Quality Executive (Food Operations)

• Conduct hygiene inspections and product quality assessments to uphold strict safety standards.

As a Senior/Staff Firmware Test Engineer in the Solid State Drive (SSD) group at Micron Technology, you will help ensure our SSD products have world-class performance and reliability. Responsibilities

• Build comprehensive firmware verification plans for various firmware features.

• Develop white/ grey-box, known, and closed system testing methods to verify and validate firmware products.

• Analyze failures from weekly regressions and perform root-cause analysis, requiring deep SSD domain expertise.

• Manage test development, test deployment, test automation, and reporting activities.

• Communicate challenges, solutions, and mitigation plans to cross-functional teams and management with clear and effective communication of both technical and non-technical topics.

• Participate in code reviews and guide the team to ensure comprehensive coverage and accurate architectural build.

• Establish strong working relationships with firmware development engineers to improve code quality.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

• 6-8 years of pertinent experience in SSD firmware test development

• Comprehensive understanding and substantial experience in SSD firmware testing and Python programming

• Deep understanding of storage industry protocols such as PCIe/ NVMe

• Familiarity with Agile development, GIT development flow and branch management.

• Experience with automated build, continuous integration, and test automation systems

• Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results

• Ability to work on complex tasks independently with minimal supervision

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capability to mentor less experienced engineers

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a great teammate

• Candidates with 2-3 years of experience but strong Python programming skills and test development experience may be considered for entry-level positions

Overall Job Description

Manage the company’s Quality Management System (ISO 9001), while supporting the daily warehouse operations. Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and consistent product/service quality. This role also supports and ensures accurate inventory handling, quality inspection of incoming & outgoing shipments, and proper documentation to maintain compliance with quality and operational standards.

Core Responsibilities

1) Quality Assurance and ISO Exposure

• Support the maintenance and administration of the company’s ISO 9001 QMS.
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs, procedures, inspection records, and compliance reports.
• Assist in preparing documentation and evidence required for internal and external ISO audits.
• Support the tracking of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, inspections, or customer feedback.

2) Warehouse Operations & Customer Support

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect goods for damages or discrepancies.
• Update inventory movements accurately in the Taskhub (ERP) system, including stock reservations, transfers, and returns.
• Coordinate sales returns processing, including inspection, documentation, and restocking where applicable.
• Support walk-in customer sales, including product preparation, packaging, and order processing.
• Maintain warehouse organisation, inventory accuracy, and proper storage practices.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety procedures and warehouse operational protocols.

3) Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, operational processes, and quality procedures.
• Participate in projects to enhance operational performance and product quality.

Job Requirements

• A diploma or its equivalent qualification or higher.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse operations and quality assurance, or related field.
• Experience in ISO / QMS principles (training & certification will be provided if needed)
• Candidates with existing ISO & QMS certifications are much preferred
• Strong organisational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Experience with warehouse management systems & ERP (e.g. Taskhub).
• Experience in quality control or auditing processes.
