RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support HW NPI SQPM (Solution Qualification Project Manager) in managing ad-hoc hardware validations
• Assist in validation planning and coordination, including scope confirmation, test readiness checks, and schedule tracking
• Oversee day-to-day validation execution progress, working with internal engineering teams and external test labs/vendors
• Track validation issues, risks, and action items, and support follow-up closure
• Consolidate test data and results, and prepare validation status reports and final reports for SQPM review
• Maintain frequent communication with program SQPMs to ensure alignment on validation progress and priorities
• Support one primary program initially, with potential ramp-up to multiple NPI programs

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in hardware NPI, system validation, reliability, quality, or related engineering roles
• Hands-on experience or exposure to hardware or software validation and testing activities
• Experience coordinating tests and tracking execution progress
• Familiar with test and issue tracking tools such as TestRail and Jira
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Able to work independently with guidance from program SQPMs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, program-driven environment
• Experience supporting multiple programs in parallel
• Prior experience working with external test labs or validation vendors

• Develop and maintain test automation and integration.
• Develop automated test scripts to validate technical, functional and performance requirements.
• Collaboration with other members of the project team on test progression and review test results.
• Create test plans, design test scenarios, test execution to ensure that the application works as it is intended.
• Execute test cases, debugging issues, and filing defect reports.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in firmware testing or embedded systems development/testing.
• Experience with programming in Python and embedded server, VB script, and Microsoft Excel macro.
• Experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
• Experience with test automation will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in the git command is an added advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication for test documentation and reporting bugs.

Responsible for performing computer hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support WOA Validation Engineering team for testing and validation
• Perform basic computer setup and maintenance, including computer disassembly and assembly, WOA installation and driver installation/upgrade, BIOS flash/upgrade
• Run testing and perform issue troubleshooting and reporting
• Conduct reported issue reproduction and validation, collect and analyse test logs, generic triage & debug
• Complete all test requests on time and communicate revised schedules as necessary
• Utilize software tools such as bug tracking tools, databases, and others as required
• Submit bugs into tracking tools and accurately classify severity levels
• Perform ad-hoc testing on new software and firmware components and assist in developing test plans
• Understand/modify/develop and execute simple scripts using Python or other programming languages
• Provide periodic updates and feedback testing status or improvements proposal to test plans
• Work on multiple projects or tasks and complete them on schedule
