Position Overview

The Warehouse, Supply Chain & Logistics Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution and management of Farmio’s physical supply chain operations in Singapore. This includes warehouse operations, inventory management, and inbound and outbound logistics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations systems; receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch

• Ensure warehouse operations comply with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements in Singapore

• Ensure quality control standards are met for all warehouse operations.

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound processes.

2. Supply Management & Control

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits

3. Logistics & Distribution Management

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring daily dispatches are handled smoothly.

• ⁠Ensure deliveries are efficient, cost-effective, and meet customer expectations.

• Coordinate closely with logistics providers and continuously seek out new providers to ensure we have competitive pricing and reliable service.

• Act as the escalation point for delivery delays, discrepancies, or service failures

4. Cost Control & Operational Efficiency

• Monitor and control warehouse and logistics operating costs

• Track key operational metrics such as cost per order, labour productivity, and fulfilment efficiency

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance and cost efficiency

• Support month-end inventory reconciliation and reporting in collaboration with the finance team
  
  

5. Team & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Supervise and manage warehouse personnel, including full-time, part-time, and outsourced staff

• Conduct training on operational procedures, safety, and compliance standards

• Work closely with internal stakeholders across sales, procurement, finance, and technology teams

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, supply chain, or logistics operations

• Proven hands-on experience managing warehouse operations and inventory control

• Experience working with third-party logistics providers and transport vendors

• Ability to analyse operational data and produce clear operational reports

Preferred

• Experience in FMCG, food distribution, or perishable goods supply chains

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

• 8+ years of experience in distribution centre and/or manufacturing project management and operations, in particular relocation and commissioning of warehousing projects, ideally warehouses supporting manufacturing operations.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams.

• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills.

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

Job Scope

Retail and Store Operations

• Provide professional sales service, introduce jewellery products, and assist customers in making purchase decisions.
• Maintain store presentation at all times including product display, cleanliness, packaging, and stock arrangement.
• Support store promotions, customer engagement activities, and daily retail operations.
• Assist with basic inventory updates, stock checks, and product handling.

Jewellery and Customer Support

• Learn essential diamond and gemstone knowledge including sourcing, certification, craftsmanship, and quality standards.
• Assist with preparing quotations, offering styling advice, and following up with customers.
• Ensure customers receive a premium, personalised shopping experience.

Marketing and Content Support

• Support simple content creation such as product photos, short videos, and social media assistance.
• Assist with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and WeChat postings when needed.
• If applicable, support Xiaohongshu or other Chinese content.

Working Hours

• Standard hours: 11 am to 8 pm, including a 1-hour meal break.
• Ability to work on weekends and public holidays as part of the retail schedule.
• 1 off day per week, usually on a weekday.
• Flexibility may be required during promotional events or busy periods.

Qualifications Needed

• Min Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• Passionate about luxury jewellery, customer service, and retail sales.

• Proficient in English; Chinese language ability is a bonus for serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
