The Role

• Lead and embed a culture that builds a team of engaged product and Brand ambassadors within your store
• Enable and empower your Store Management team who are customer first, people focused, and results driven
• Coach your team to deliver multiple Brand moments and an elevated flagship experience for our customer to shop seamlessly throughout your store
• Identify your team's development needs and motivators to drive wellness, engagement and performance to build our bench for future succession
• Work with your Field VM and Merch partners to provide customer and store insights to drive results and to create great experiences for our customer
• Manage store schedules and wages effectively to achieve productivity and wage targets
• Advocate for the Cotton On Group Foundation, leading the team on how they can make life changing impact on our projects around the world

Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant Manager will lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety compliance, inventory accuracy, and quality control. You will supervise staff, coordinate with stakeholders, and analyze performance data to drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations by assisting the Warehouse Manager in planning and executing activities that comply with safety protocols and optimize process efficiency
• Monitor and control inventory levels by implementing procedures that minimize loss and ensure stock accuracy and availability
• Supervise and mentor warehouse staff by assigning tasks and evaluating performance to maintain a productive team environment
• Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure items meet standards before delivery
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods, resolving operational issues proactively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by conducting regular safety drills and training for staff
• Generate and analyze warehouse performance reports to identify improvement opportunities and recommend operational enhancements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills demonstrated through supervising warehouse staff and driving team performance
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities applied to managing warehouse activities and inventory control
• Proficiency in inventory management software to monitor stock levels and streamline warehouse processes
• Effective problem-solving skills used to address operational challenges and maintain quality standards
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and quality control
