This includes working with finance colleagues to propose areas of improvement, reviewing audit findings, co-managing the Business Central system to ensure work and financial efficiencies.
• Focus on providing good service to internal stakeholders, by engaging and collaborating with them to better understand their work needs and to offer value-for-money viable or alternate products and services when required or necessary to. Focus on working with both internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors to improve on and implement areas of improvement in terms of services, processes and projects.

Requirements:

Position Overview:

The Purchasing Manager and Cost Controller is responsible for scheduling and organizing purchasing strategies in line with organization, objectives, monitor the procurement process. • Tabulate C7 transfer summary and submitted to Finance for closing.
• Email the outlets beverage cost report for comparison view.
• Analyze on the reason of high cost, provide necessary reports and supporting documents
• Review of the store slow moving items and highlighted to Chef/ F&B to propose of moving out from store for more effective manning
• Complete any other projects, tasks or activities as assigned from time to time

Manage Team

• Review talent capability and develop high potential colleagues for the department

• 6–8 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the foodservice industry

• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong attention to detail and high accuracy in work.

• Hands-on and results-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Plan, develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Source and price quotations, and confirm supplier selection with the reporting boss.
• Oversee the supplier evaluation process, focusing on key performance areas such as fuel quality, quantity, and operational reliability.
• Identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor, manage, and maintain comprehensive documentation of all activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure global price lists, supplier records and contract terms are accurately maintained.
• Monitor procurement performance KPIs.

skills and experience required

• Degree in engineering / supply chain or related
• Willing to work in the west of Singapore (Boon Lay / Pioneer / Tuas)
• Min 8 years of experience in offshore logistic environment will be a plus
• Experience in tender, price comparison & markup optimization
