Responsibilities:

1. Achieve Management Targets

• Lead the inventory control function to meet all operational KPIs and management objectives.

• Drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, cost optimization, and process efficiency.

2. Staff Training and Development

• Manage and develop a team of inventory, purchasing, and planning professionals.

• Provide coaching, performance evaluation, and skills training to strengthen team capabilities.

• Ensure staff adhere to inventory control policies, procedures, and audit requirements.

3. Purchasing Budget Oversight

• Prepare and manage the annual purchasing budget in alignment with business forecasts.

• Work with HQ and Finance to maintain cost discipline while ensuring adequate stock support for operations.

4. Maintain Transfer Pricing Compliance

• Ensure all transfer prices are set and maintained in accordance with corporate policies and global tax/finance guidelines.

• Liaise with HQ, Finance, and related departments to ensure transparency and audit readiness.

5. Manage Company Profit (Inventory Perspective)

• Monitor inventory turnover, holding costs, and stock health to protect company profitability.

• Lead actions to minimize excess, slow-moving, or obsolete stock through timely review and decision-making.

• Support cost-analysis and margin improvement initiatives.

6. Control Allocation (Internal and External)

• Manage inventory allocation for internal departments and external customers, ensuring fair, timely distribution.

• Balance supply constraints vs. business priorities while maintaining service-level commitments.

7. Manage Order Quantities vs. Allocation and Factory Capacity

• Review and validate customer orders by coordinating with Production, Customer Support, and Sales teams.

• Adjust order quantities based on factory output, material availability, and allocation rules to ensure stable supply.

8. Maintain Appropriate Stock Levels

• Develop and execute inventory planning strategies that optimize stock levels.

• Ensure accuracy between system inventory and physical stock.

• Prevent stockouts, overstock, and aging inventory through proactive forecasting and monitoring.

9. Resolve Issues with Staff and Related Parties

• Act as a key escalation point for customer delivery commitments, coordinating with Sales, Customer Support, factories, and logistics partners to meet required lead-time and prevent late deliveries.

• Provide guidance and solutions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or equivalent field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

• Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory planning, demand forecasting, and purchasing processes.

• Experience in electronics, manufacturing, or distribution industry is preferred.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, A.I tools, PC & Excel skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that the organization secures high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. You will play a crucial role in driving our operational efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives by developing strong supplier relationships and continuously analyzing market trends. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing procurement strategies, enhancing cost savings, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

JOB SCOPE / RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, including requisitioning, ordering, and receiving goods and services.

· Raise Purchase Order, Purchase request form, and documentation of invoices including liaise with Finance department for payment.

· Perform operational activities such as transactions, initiating delivery or shipment of parts and controlling and monitoring all parts related activities and site Stocks.

· Coordinate with supplier, contractors Logistics/ forwarders and site project team to ensure parts is delivered on time.

· Review and quotations for approval, and raise Invoices requestion form to finance department, existing customers.

· Maintain excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

· To develop, manage and maintain strong relationship with Suppliers & Contractors

· Maintain basic competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office, Power Point and Excel (i.e., spreadsheets, formulas, importing and exporting of files, as applicable) as required.

· To support Malaysia Office procurement works until Malaysia office procurement staff on board.

· Oversee office admin works, daily activities and cleanliness.

· Perform any ad-hoc duties from top management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Min 1 year of customer related experience, preferably in semiconductor industry.

• Independent Individual with a drive to make things work.

• Highly adaptable, Self-motivated individual and willing to learn.

• Committed and have a positive work attitude.

• Proficiency with MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint).
