Job Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement operations, align talent development with organizational strategies, and continuously upgrade team capabilities.
• Build and expand global core component supplier base, define category procurement and inventory strategies, and lead component sourcing, selectionand delivery assurance across full project lifecycles.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet project cost targets during supplier nomination, and execute structured cost-down programs for mass production.
• Track industry trends and competitor movements, and formulate risk mitigation plans to address technological upgrades, cost fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
• Develop and optimize role-based SOPs, streamline end-to-end procurement workflows and internal governance mechanisms.
• Drive cross-departmental alignment to resolve operational and team management issues.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a STEM-related field (e.g. Engineering, IT, Science, or Mathematics
• Minimum 3 years of procurement management experience.
• Familiarity with IATF16949 automotive quality system is highly preferred.

Job Description

• Reads tender documents and conduct sourcing according to the project agreed specifications and requirements.
• Preparation of bid analysis, purchase orders and tracking of the equipment, materials and services procured.
• Co-ordinate between suppliers and internal departments/project teams to ensure specifications are met and in compliance with client requirements.
• Responsible for the performance of vendors, procurement planning, product quality and timely delivery
• Analyze and recommend alternative procurement routes and vendors
• Provide data for relevant decision making at top management level
• Provide technical expertise in the development and improvement of products, process & materials specifications with suppliers.
• Identify and develop new parts supplier to improve supply chain network
• Execute purchasing activities
• Support in Company winning projects by securing the most competitive offers from the suppliers

Skills & Qualification

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any other engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Knowledge in SAP Business one preferred
• Positive attitude, good negotiation skill and self-motivated
