What We're Looking For:

The Demand Planner and Buyer will manage both demand planning and procurement activities within the organization. This role requires close collaboration with the management, sales, and logistics teams to ensure optimal product availability. The ideal candidate will utilize their analytical expertise to identify demand trends that drive business decisions. A background in FMCG and experience in demand planning and procurement processes will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Demand Planning:

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasting models to predict future product needs.
• Analyze depletion reports to identify sales trends and generate product forecasts for procurement requirements.
• Work closely with management, sales, and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of products.
• Continuously analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

Buyer:

• Manage daily procurement and requisition activities, including handling shipments, and coordinating with vendors, warehouses, and freight forwarders.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for procurement processes.
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee documentation for customs clearance, ensuring compliance with import/export laws and regulations.
• Review vendor backlogs regularly and proactively expedite deliveries to meet deadlines.
• Submit timely depletion reports to brand owners and relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery timelines, or service.
• Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising product quality or delivery timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and lead times to prevent stockouts and overstocking, ensuring optimal stock availability.
• Maintain high-quality standards for procured goods, conducting regular quality checks and inspections on received shipments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and drive results with minimal supervision.
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in demand planning and procurement processes.
• Understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation.
• Strong negotiation abilities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a capacity to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP.
• Knowledge of best practices and current trends in procurement and supply chain management.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Assistant supports warehouse operations by assisting in put-away, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. The role requires attention to detail, physical fitness, and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform put-away of received goods into the correct storage locations following FIFO

practices.

2. Pick and pack goods according to pick lists or sales orders accurately and efficiently.

3. Prepare goods for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.

4. Assist in stock counting activities, cycle counts, and full stock takes.

5. Report any discrepancies, damages, or expired products to the Warehouse Team

Leader or Executive.

6. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, stackers, and forklifts (if

certified).

7. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

8. Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and ensure the use of Personal Protective

Equipment (PPE) at all times.

9. Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required.

10. Follow instructions from the Warehouse Team Leader and Warehouse Executive.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements:

· Prior experience in warehouse operations preferred but not essential (training

provided).

· Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift license is an advantage).

· Basic understanding of warehouse systems and processes.

· Able to handle manual handling tasks.

· Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy.

· Willing to work overtime when required.
