Overall responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team as a Videographer & Photographer cum Video Editor. This role involves managing various aspects of video and photography projects, from project delegation to final editing. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and proficient in both videography and photography techniques.

Key areas of Responsibility

• Project Delegation:Delegate video projects to outsourced video editors while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  Coordinate with external vendors and freelancers as needed.
  
• Quality Checker:Ensure the quality of major video productions, including corporate videos, promotional videos, teasers/stingers, sermons, and post-video editing.
  Conduct thorough reviews to maintain consistency and excellence in the final output.
  
• Writer/Editor:Collaborate with the team to develop scripts and storyboards for major video productions, particularly those related to corporate matters.
  Edit and refine scripts to align with the project objectives and messaging.
  
• Videographer and Photographer:Capture high-quality photos and videos during event coverages for both internal and external clients.
  Utilize creative techniques and equipment to produce compelling visual content.
  
• Video Editor for Urgent Requests:Respond promptly to urgent corporate video requests and ensure timely delivery of edited videos.
  Maintain flexibility and adaptability to meet changing project demands.
  
• Procurement of Media Equipment:Research and procure media equipment required for video and photography projects.
  Manage inventory and ensure equipment is well-maintained and in working condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in videography, photography, and video editing roles.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) and photography editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
• Strong creative vision and storytelling skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in project management and vendor coordination is preferred.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in videography, photography, and video editing.

We are seeking for a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as a Assistant Manager (Communications). This role entails overseeing various content and design projects while managing physical and outsourced manpower. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Physical and Outsource Manpower Management:Supervise and coordinate the activities of physical and outsourced manpower.
  Ensure efficient utilization of resources and adherence to project timelines.
  
• Project Delegations:Delegate tasks and responsibilities for content and design projects.
  Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  
• Quality Checker of Contents:Review and ensure the quality of contents for corporate collaterals, including newsletters, fundraising campaigns, booklets and posters etc.
  Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all materials.
  
• Quarterly Progress Reports:Compile comprehensive progress reports for internal review and client updates.
  Analyse project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  
• Monthly Payments for Outsource Manpower:Manage and process monthly payments for outsourced manpower.
  Maintain accurate records of expenses and invoices.
  
• Recruitment:Participate in the recruitment process for full-time, remote, and intern employees.
  Collaborate with HR to identify and onboard top talent.
  
• Conflict Resolution:Address conflicts and resolve issues that may arise during project execution.
  Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in project management and content editing roles.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Experience in conflict resolution and team management is preferred.

Overall Responsibilities:

Execute the communications strategy through a variety of digital platforms to help build the Bible Society’s brand, promote the Bible Mission and communicate the various Centres’ publicity and fundraising needs. Support communication needs of the region as directed.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

1. Create and maintain social media strategy that will help to execute the overall brand strategy and promote the Bible Mission
2. Schedule posts and design branded images for all relevant social media platforms
3. Promote community engagement on social media platforms
4. Maintain balance between consumer-facing and brand-promoting content
5. Maintain BSS copywriting and branding standards in all social media posts, email marketing campaigns, and webpages
6. Schedule, design, and send all email marketing campaigns using Constant Contact
7. Create and maintain webpages across existing BSS WordPress sites
8. Work closely and in collaboration with the BSS team/departments and constituents to develop publicity/fundraising/corporate digital communication materials
9. Use new media where applicable and as directed
10. Support the production and administrative work required for all CMC projects
11. Collaborate with and support the wider United Bible Societies (UBS) fellowship and its communication needs as directed by BSS management

Requirements:

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with various Social Media platforms and how to use them effectively to reach different target audiences
• Experience with email marketing systems (Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc)
• Technologically savvy
• Experience with WordPress a major advantage
• Experience in copy writing/design work an advantage
• Diploma or Degree holder (preferably in relevant area)
• Self-starter with a good eye for detail and strong ability to multi-task
• Able to both work within a team and independently
• Possess organisational and analytical skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
• Working knowledge of other design or editing software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc) an advantage
• Bi-lingual (English and Mandarin Chinese) an advantage
• Experience with Google AdWords and/or Google Analytics is an advantage
