Job Summary

KADA is a multi-use lifestyle space housed in a conserved heritage building, bringing together dining, wellness/fitness and community experiences. We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Intern to support its digital presence by capturing engaging content and telling the story of its lifestyle space, tenants, and community. This part-time role requires an average of 10 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Capture and create visually compelling short-form videos and photos that showcase KADA’s space, tenants, and community activities
• Develop engaging social media content that appeals to both local and tourist audiences
• Use social media tools such as Instagram, TikTok, CapCut, Canva, and Xiaohongshu to produce and edit content
• Walk the premises regularly to identify and document moments that highlight the lifestyle and culture of KADA
• Engage confidently with corporate clients and stakeholders during KADA events to support content creation and relationship building
• Work independently to plan, execute, and deliver social media content quickly and effectively
• Apply storytelling techniques to enhance visual composition and audience engagement
• Demonstrate proactive observation and approach people or situations to capture authentic content

Required competencies and certifications

• Strong communications skills (both verbal and written) in English. Chinese is a bonus.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Interest in lifestyle spaces, social media trends, and content creation
• Basic photography and video editing skills
• Familiarity with food & beverage, wellness, or events content
• Experience pitching ideas to corporate clients

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support our official meeting programme, the platform that connects attendees, exhibitors, and decision-makers before and during the event.

Pre-Event (Before the Show Goes Live)

• Help attendees schedule meetings using the official event app/platform.
• Follow up with participants to complete pending meeting requests (yes, you’ll help drive engagement).
• Provide basic troubleshooting if someone gets stuck navigating the platform.
• Work with the team to ensure all meetings are properly recorded and updated.

You’ll learn how structured networking at large B2B events actually works behind the scenes.

Onsite (Where It Gets Real)

• Manage check-ins at the meeting zones.
• Ensure meeting rooms are ready and sessions run on time.
• Track confirmed meetings and update the system live.
• Troubleshoot real-time scheduling or app issues.
• Help maintain a smooth flow between back-to-back meetings.
• Coordinate quickly if there are changes, delays, or special requests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Event Outreach & Marketing
Engagement Calling: Conduct outbound calls to partner companies to confirm their attendance and assist with their registration needs.
Candidate Sourcing: Reach out to potential job seekers via phone and email to invite or confirm them to the event, ensuring a high turnout rate.
Outreach Marketing: Support digital marketing efforts by promoting the event across social media platforms, job boards, and community groups.
Attendance Tracking: Maintain and update databases to monitor registration numbers for both employers and candidates.

2. Event Logistics & Setup
Physical Setup: Assist in the physical arrangement of the venue, including setting up tables, chairs, banners, and acrylic displays.
Technical Support: Help set up laptops and digital kiosks for registration and employer use.
Employer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for employers, assisting them in setting up their booths and organizing their display materials.

3. On-Site Operations & Crowd Management
Registration & Reception: Manage the registration desk, verify attendee details, and distribute event materials.
Crowd Control: Monitor the flow of the event, managing queues and ensuring a smooth experience for all participants.
Proactive Recruitment: Approach passersby confidently to introduce the event and invite them to explore job opportunities.
Ushering: Guide job seekers through the venue, ensuring they find specific booths or seminar rooms easily.

4. Candidate Experience & Advisory
Career Guidance: Support job seekers who may feel overwhelmed by guiding them toward booths and roles that match their skill sets.
Ambassadorship: Act as the "face of the event," providing helpful information and maintaining a positive, professional atmosphere.

5. Post-Event & Digital Maintenance
Content Management: Capture key moments during the event and update the company website’s photo gallery post-event.
Reporting: Assist in gathering feedback from employers and job seekers to improve future events.

Requirements:

• Friendly, confident, and comfortable talking to strangers.
• Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer literacy (for jobseeker registration).
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Prior event or customer service experience is a bonus, but not required.

We are looking for a creative and driven Events and Social Media Marketing Intern to help boost our online presence, create engaging content, and support our digital marketing campaigns.

• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content (posts, reels, videos, carousels, and stories) across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Research and curate job trends, career tips, and hiring insights to engage jobseekers.
• Support influencer collaborations and employer branding initiatives.
• Monitor social media trends and adapt content to boost engagement.
• Engage with our community by responding to comments, messages, and discussions.
• Analyze social media performance and generate reports with actionable insights.
• Support social media campaigns, job fairs, giveaways, and partnerships.
• Assist in creating EDMs, newsletters, and recruitment ads for outreach.

Who we're looking for：

• Passionate about social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of content creation tools like Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or InShot.
• Strong writing and communication skills in English (Chinese is a plus!).
• A creative thinker with an eye for aesthetics, trends, and engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn marketing and employer branding is a plus.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask.
