Job Description:

• Set up, configure, operate, and perform preventive maintenance on all studio and virtual production equipment, including cameras, LED/VP processing units, tracking systems, video routers, and AV infrastructure, ensuring every system is production-ready and functioning reliably.

• Troubleshoot camera and imaging equipment and provide clear technical reports to the Studio Manager and manufacturers to support timely issue resolution and minimise downtime.

• Maintain system performance by updating firmware and software across all devices and ensuring compatibility with real-time production workflows.

• Ensure that all technical equipment meets operational and safety standards, with minimal disruption to studio activities and production schedules.

• Read, interpret, and design camera and signal-flow diagrams, supporting clear and efficient routing for both physical and virtual production environments.

• Manage and route video signals, including split camera feeds, genlock, timecode, and data lines, ensuring synchronised and stable connections during shoots.

• Apply strong knowledge of professional video standards, including HD-SDI, DisplayPort, HDMI, RAW workflows, colour metadata, and data-wrangling practices used in virtual production and broadcast pipelines.

• Maintain and support Virtual Production systems, including tracking objects, markers, cabling, power management, and full AV signal flow across the LED volume.

• Assist the camera crew with calibration workflows, including lens calibration, spatial calibration, and mounting of virtual production tracking hardware on set.

• Troubleshoot video feeds, tracking stability, and calibration issues in collaboration with the Virtual Production team to maintain accurate real-time rendering and scene playback.

• Communicate changeover updates, camera configuration changes, and system status to the Virtual Production team to ensure smooth transitions and operational clarity.

• Continuously develop skills and stay updated on new technologies, maintaining a forward-thinking and adaptable approach to evolving industry tools and workflows.

• Proficient in video editing, supporting quick reviews, technical tests, and content preparation when required.

Key Responsibilities

The Virtual Production Producer will oversee and manage Virtual Production (VP) projects from initial concept development through final delivery, ensuring seamless coordination between creative, production, and technical teams.

Pre-Production

• Review scripts, storyboards, and client briefs to define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and production milestones.
• Develop and manage virtual production workflows, ensuring alignment between creative vision and technical feasibility.
• Present virtual production solutions, methodologies, and workflows to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and provide regular project updates throughout the production lifecycle.
• Coordinate closely with directors, producers, VFX supervisors, VP supervisors, and technical teams to ensure production readiness.
• Plan and allocate internal resources, including crew, artists, and technical personnel.
• Oversee virtual asset creation, environment development, and content delivery schedules.
• Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure all virtual production elements are tested, validated, and prepared prior to principal photography.

Production

• Lead day-to-day virtual production operations during shoots.

• Advise production teams on Virtual Production best practices and recommend solutions when workflows deviate from approved plans.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Project Management, Producing, or Production Management within film, television, commercials, or media productions.
• Experience managing narrative film projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of production workflows and project coordination.

Job Description

Business Development & Market Expansion

• Lead the development of business opportunities between Korea and Southeast Asia across content production, virtual production, immersive media, events, brand partnerships, and artist engagements.
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with Korean brands, agencies, production houses, broadcasters, OTT platforms, government agencies, and strategic partners.
• Source and secure new projects, sponsorships, co-production opportunities, and commercial partnerships.
• Represent AP Media at industry events, business meetings, networking sessions, and market visits in Korea and the region.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison between Korean clients and AP Media's regional teams.
• Manage key client relationships and oversee commercial negotiations, proposals, quotations, and project agreements.
• Liaise with agencies, government bodies, film commissions, media organisations, and corporate partners to facilitate project execution and business growth.

Executive Production & Project Leadership

• Lead projects from concept development through production and final delivery.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Provide executive oversight for virtual production, branded content, immersive media, live events, and digital content initiatives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations.

Artist & Talent Management

• Develop and manage relationships with Korean artists, talents, influencers, entertainers, and industry representatives.
• Support talent representation, endorsements, appearances, licensing opportunities, and regional expansion initiatives.
• Facilitate talent engagements and commercial opportunities across Southeast Asia.

Creative & Content Development

• Contribute to concept development, creative proposals, and content strategies tailored for Korean and regional markets.
• Identify emerging market trends, technologies, and audience opportunities to strengthen AP Media's competitive position.
• Evaluate content, intellectual property (IP), and partnership opportunities for commercial viability.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Work closely with producers, project managers, creative teams, technical teams, and management to ensure successful project execution.
• Mentor and guide junior production personnel where required.
• Foster strong collaboration between Korean and Southeast Asian stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Film, Media, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in media, content production, entertainment, advertising, talent management, or related industries.
• Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, partnership management, or executive production.
• Strong network within the Korean media, entertainment, advertising, or creative industry is highly preferred.
• Experience working on international projects, co-productions, artist engagements, or cross-border collaborations is an advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
