Job Summary
The Director-General provides strategic leadership and oversees the organisation’s management and operational performance, driving long-term business strategies, managing senior teams, and ensuring governance and financial oversight.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans and long-term business objectives to drive organisational growth
- Lead and direct senior management and departmental teams to achieve corporate goals
- Identify and pursue business opportunities to expand organisational impact
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient performance and alignment with strategic objectives
- Monitor departmental activities and implement operational policies and performance management frameworks
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure cost control and sustainability
- Monitor financial performance and enforce risk management and financial governance practices
- Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards
- Establish policies and procedures to promote organisational accountability and transparency
- Represent the organisation in business and industry engagements to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships
- Develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies to support organisational objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 15 years of industry experience, including senior management and leadership team management experience
- Relevant professional certification such as BCA licence certification from the Building and Construction Authority

- Strong leadership, operational planning, and project management capabilities demonstrated through managing large teams and complex operations
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to engage diverse partners
