About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Software Control Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of industrial automation and control systems, from design and programming to testing, commissioning, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and implement software solutions for industrial automation and control systems throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Design, configure, test, and maintain PLC-based control systems and related automation equipment.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, control systems, or related engineering fields.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in PLC programming, system configuration, and I/O addressing.
• Familiar with industrial communication protocols such as RS232, Modbus, TCP/IP, and EtherCAT.
• Strong understanding of control system design, electrical engineering principles, and safety compliance requirements.
• Experience with PC-based motion control systems and HMI/user interface programming will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks Electrical and/or AutoCAD LT is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Helpdesk & End-User Support

• Provide first- and second-line support via phone, email, ticketing system, and in person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and network connectivity issues.
• Support Windows, macOS, Linux, and Microsoft 365business applications.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or regional IT teams as needed.

Onboarding & Offboarding

• Manage end-to-end IT onboarding — workstation setup, account creation, software provisioning, and system access.
• Handle IT offboarding — revoking access, recovering assets, and disabling accounts across all platforms.
• Coordinate door access card activation/deactivation with HR and building management.
• Conduct IT orientation sessions for all new hires.

Office Infrastructure & AV

• Maintain and troubleshoot conference room AV systems (Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms, projectors, displays).
• Manage network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, firewalls) and liaise with ISP for connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with facilities for cabling, electrical, UPS, and server room upkeep.
• Support hot-desking and hybrid work setups (docking stations, shared peripherals).

Asset & Vendor Management

• Maintain a complete IT asset register — tracking assignments, warranties, and lifecycle for all HQ devices.
• Manage software licensing, SaaS access provisioning, and renewals.
• Liaise with local IT vendors on hardware repairs, maintenance contracts, and procurement quotations.

Security, Compliance & Continuity

• Enforce endpoint security policies — antivirus, disk encryption, OS patching, and MDM for mobile devices.
• Support IT audits, access reviews, and compliance documentation.
• Maintain backup systems and contribute to the Singapore IT Disaster Recovery plan.
• Document IT runbooks, SOPs, and maintain a local IT knowledge base.

Reporting & Governance

• Prepare monthly IT reports on ticket volumes, SLA performance, and asset status.
• Participate in regional IT meetings to align HQ operations with China and India teams.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in IT support / helpdesk role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise directly with our China-based IT team on technical matters.

Site Engineer

Job Description

This position is mainly responsible for on-site construction supervision, engineering coordination, progress monitoring, quality verification, and testing/inspection support for semiconductor facility engineering projects.

The scope of work includes civil construction stages, M&E installation, instrumentation and control wiring, signal cable installation, control panel installation, PLC / SCADA / GMS system testing, and project handover activities.

The role is primarily responsible for ensuring contractors’ works comply with drawings, specifications, project schedules, and project requirements, while supporting the engineering team in site management and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise on-site construction activities, monitor work progress, and ensure quality compliance.
2. Coordinate work arrangements among clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
3. Ensure site works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

1. Project Coordination

• Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day coordination ofsteel and metal works projects

• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors,suppliers, and internal teams

• Track shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, andtechnical submissions

2. Drawings & Technical Support

• Assist in drawing coordination (Drawings prepared by thedrafting team)

• Liaise with the drafting team on revisions, updates, andcoordination issues

• Ensure drawings are aligned with site conditions,specifications, and contract requirements

3. Material Take-Off & Procurement

• Assist in material quantity take-off for steel and metalworks

• Support the Project Manager/QS in cost checking, variationorder (VO) support, and progress claims

• Maintain basic records for quantities, tonnage, andmaterial usage

• Assist in material requisitions and delivery planning

4. Site Support

• Assist PM in site coordination, installation planning, andwork sequencing

• Attend site meetings and inspections when required

• Support the PM in resolving site issues related to steeland metal works

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Assist PM in preparing simple project reports, schedules,and trackers

• Ensure documentation is updated, organised, and properlycontrolled

Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, StructuralEngineering, or related field

• 2–3 years of experience in steel, metal works, orconstruction industry

• Able to read drawings and perform basic quantity take-off

• Proficient in MS Excel and Word; AutoCAD / TEKLA knowledgeis a plus

• Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work underguidance

• Good communication and Team player with a positivelearning attitude

• Remuneration package: SGD2,800 to SGD$4,500 Basic + AWS + Excellent Variable Bonus
