Job Responsibilities
- Lead and execute furniture carpentry works including cutting, assembling, and finishing.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, layout plans, and design specifications.
- Supervise and guide junior carpenters, ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance.
- Operate woodworking machinery, tools, and equipment with precision.
- Perform on-site installation of furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures.
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, durability, and aesthetic standards.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to meet client requirements.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety, and proper tool usage.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of carpentry experience, preferably in furniture and interior fit-outs.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.Leadership skills with experience supervising a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Physically fit and able to handle carpentry tools and equipment.
