Job Responsibilities:
· Liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to
maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
· Oversee and lead the Safety team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company’s safety
systems at sites.
· Monitor safety and health aspect of all projects and workers safe work practices.
· Conduct daily site inspection on work activities to ensure implementation of safe work procedures.
· Investigates accidents / incidents / dangerous occurrences and recommend remedial measures to
prevent any recurrences.
· Carry out risk assessment for all projects and maintain high level of safety and housekeeping at
site.
· Carry out safety orientations and to conduct daily tool box meeting.
· Plan, Administer and implement safety policy and safety procedures in compliance with local safety
regulations.
· Familiarize with 3rd party Audit requirements and make preparation for the Audit.
· Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health Act and all its subsidiary and
statutory legal legislations.
· Identify any unsafe condition or unsafe work practice and recommend / implement reasonably
practicable measures to correct the situation.
· Any other duties and responsibility as assigned.
Job Requirements:
· At least a Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Construction and Advanced Certificate in WSH
(Level B).
· Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
· Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Engineering and Construction industry.
· Familiar with construction site safety inspections and regulations.
· A good team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his work.
· Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive and results oriented.
· Excellent team spirit, strong technical competence and good interpersonal skills.
