The Instrument Technician is responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, package, sterilized, stored, distributed and tracked in a quality / timely manner throughout the hospital.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE N Level equivalent
• Certificate in Healthcare Service is preferred
• Has good interpersonal and communication skills

What you will do:

As Senior Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and servicing of HVAC systems. Your expertise in servicing, maintenance, overhaul, testing, and commissioning will contribute to the optimal performance of our clients' heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service.

How you will do it:

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspection of HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.

• Overhaul and repair HVAC equipment, including identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions.

• Conduct testing and commissioning of newly installed or repaired HVAC systems to verify their performance.

• Diagnose problems, troubleshoot issues, and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure continuous system operations.

• Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide technical support.

• Maintain accurate records of service reports, equipment status, and maintenance schedules.

• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all tasks and assignments.

• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.

• Support proposals to support recommendations and solutions.

What we look for:

• O Level / A Level / ITE / Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical with 1 years working experience.

• Proven experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting within related fields of HVAC (Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning) or BAS (Building Automation System)

• Experience in working in mechanical or electrical works within HVAC industry

• Ability to read schematics and write up report

• Able to travel if need

• Willing to learn new things and is a good teammate.

• Able to provide good customer service skills to our customers.

• Possess knowledge in HVAC will be added advantage

• Willingness to on standby and backup

Responsibilities

• Restrain and handle patients safely during consultations and treatments to ensure effective care delivery
• Communicate clearly with clients and referring veterinarians to coordinate patient care and follow-up
• Assist veterinarians during treatments, procedures, and surgeries to support clinical outcomes
• Perform placement of IV catheters, blood draws, and collect urine and fecal samples for laboratory analysis
• Prepare surgical theatres and consultation rooms to maintain sterile and efficient environments
• Monitor and provide pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative care to support patient recovery
• Assist with anaesthesia monitoring and recovery to ensure patient safety during procedures
• Perform autoclaving and clean workstations and cages to uphold hygiene standards
• Oversee and train patient care assistants and junior veterinary nurses to maintain team competency
• Coordinate and manage daily veterinary practice operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Apply knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance and safety

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in veterinary technology or nursing, or relevant qualifications
• Certification in CPR
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in the veterinary industry

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
