Job Summary:

Support the Facilities Department in Maintenance Planning, SOE Expenses & Payment, and Vendor Management for facilities

Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Planning

• Plan, schedule, and track preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment and facilities
• Ensure timely follow-up and proper documentation of all maintenance work

2. SOE (Statement of Expense) Management

• Assist in budget planning and tracking of SOE expenses
• Monitor spending to ensure alignment with budget forecasts
• Prepare monthly SOE updates in line with maintenance requirements
• Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate and timely expense reconciliation

3. Vendor Management

• Source and negotiate quotations (RFQs) from approved vendors for services and equipment
• Coordinate service schedules, monitor vendor performance, and ensure timely issue resolution
• Maintain vendor pool and conduct annual vendor evaluations

4. Vendor Delivery & Work Completion

• Verify completion of vendor deliveries and maintenance work
• Support the maintenance team to ensure compliance with technical standards and documentation requirements
• Manage month-end closing processes for vendor delivery orders and service completion

5. Procurement & Payment (Ariba System)

• Raise purchase requisitions, process purchase orders, and manage payments via Ariba
• Obtain necessary approvals (RFA) for RFQs
• Liaise with Procurement and Finance to resolve system or invoice discrepancies

6. Inventory & Material Handling

• Receive and issue maintenance materials based on operational needs
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock level updates

7. Store & Administrative Support

• Maintain organized records of inventory, tools, and consumables
• Ensure compliance with storage procedures, safety standards, and housekeeping requirements

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Planning, Procurement, or related field
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and inventory management systems
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or plant facilities environment
• Resourceful problem-solver with flexibility to work overtime when required

As a Technician lll under DSM Production Technical Support Team, you will be handling complex technical tasks in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on DSM Flex Front End and Back End modules.

We are seeking a mission-oriented and proactive Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Engineer to be a member of our Maintenance, Repairs, Overhauls (MRO) – Engineering team to ensure the smooth functioning of our engineering, quality and reliability processes supporting Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance operations at our customer’s premises, SATS Pte Ltd. You will play a key role in maintaining operational reliability, troubleshooting issues, engaging the customer in technical/engineering issues, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.

You will report to the Operations Manager onsite at SATS Maintenance Centre (SMC) at 34 Changi North Crescent S(499614) based on a 5-day work shift (Monday to Friday), and professionally report to Head MRO-Engineering Department at the company HQ (for support of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical technical matters), with the following responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve technical issues utilizing practical fault tree analysis methodologies to minimize GSE downtime.

- Conduct failure mode analysis and recommend enhance maintenance scheme to improve GSE reliability.

- Communicate with the customers on troubleshooting, failure mode and corrective/preventive actions on technical defects.

- Prepare technical report and presentation deck for submission and presenting to the customer when required.

- Develop, review, and update technical documentation including maintenance manuals, repair procedures, and engineering change requests.

- Perform spare parts obsolescence management which include identifying obsolete spare parts and mitigating risk through monitoring, alternative parts identification and build safety stocks.

- Collaborate closely with operations, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize maintenance schedule planning.

- Respond to urgent technical issues, emergencies during off-office hours and weekends when necessary.

- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, automotive, or related engineering with at least 2 years of working experience OR Diploma in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, automotive, or related engineering with at least 6 years working experience in automotive, GSE or related field.

- Proven experience in maintenance operations, engineering, or related roles.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair customer electronic boards, including Burn-In Boards (BIB), DUT cards, load boards and other test hardware.

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and assembly issues using schematics, PCB layouts, assembly drawings and test data.

• Perform component replacement and rework (connectors, sockets, BGAs, QFNs, passives, power devices etc.) according to approved repair procedures.

• Support failure analysis by collecting repair data, photos, and failure details for review.

• Conduct post-repair electrical and functional verification using standard lab equipment to ensure boards meet release requirements.

• Assist the Senior Engineer in debugging production, reliability, and test-related issues.

• Maintain accurate repair records, documentation, and traceability for repaired boards.

• Support production recovery by responding to urgent line and yield-impacting issues.

• Follow manufacturing instructions, safety guidelines, company policies, and housekeeping practices.

• Perform other tasks assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

• Higher NITEC / NITEC in Electronics & Electrical Engineering or related field of studies.

• Minimum 2 years experience in electronics repair, troubleshooting or manufacturing support environment.
