I. Job Summary :
As a professional expert in I&C, in charge of execution strategy, execution plan, interface management, basic
data, risk control, design philosophy, etc. Identify potential project risks
and develop appropriate mitigate risk measures.
II. Principal Responsibilities :
1. Communicate and coordinate with CLIENT on I&C design philosophy and technical issue, and figure out the solution.
2. Coordinate with CLIENT, third parties as well as national and local regulations to solve relevant problems and closeout review comments.
3. Responsible for technical tender document review, technical clarification, prepare or review the TBE etc.
4. Provide technical training and guidance to designers on a regular basis, with no less than 6 times or 20 hours of training per year.
5. Be responsible for other related work assigned by company.
III. Education/Experience Requirements/Certification:
1. Bachelor degree or above;
2. More than 12 years of working experience in I&C design of offshore fixed platform or floating oil and gas production facilities, including more than 5 years international project. With middle east project working experience (like ADNOC, QatarEnergy, Saudi Aramco etc.) is prefered. Working experience in internationally renowned engineering companies, such as Technip, Worley, Wood, Flour, MCDERMOTT is preferred.
3. Familiar with I&C expertise (such as DCS, SIS, FGS, HIPS, wellhead control panel, oil and gas
custody transfer, control valve, ESDV, flowmeter, etc), technical specifications (SIL, HAZOP, fire and gas mapping, cyber security, etc), and industry regulations and policies (such as IEC, ISO, EN, API, NFPA, ASME, ANSI, ISA, NEMA, AGA, ASTM, shell DEP, BP standards, TOTAL standard, NORSOK, -etc.)
4. Familiar with the design procedure of international project, strong ability to develop and manage
technical solutions, promptly identify and resolve issues, and effectively control and mitigate risks.
Behavioral/Technical Skills:
1. Proficient in instrument control design software, such as SPI, INSTRUCALC, AutoCAD, etc., proficient
in excel, word, ppt etc.
2. Work diligently, rigorously, with a strong sense of responsibility, hardworking, and can work overtime if
required as per project plan.
3. Have rich experience in shipyard or site technical support, following domestic or overseas business
trips and overseas work arrangements as per project requirement.
4. Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with native English speakers being
preferred.
