·      Perform the yellow belt technical assessment for the EItechnicians and guide green and red belters to be prepared for their assessment

·      Coordinate subcontractor works and audit their work qualitystandards.

·      Carry out feasibility study, health checks and standardisationproject for lifts and escalators according to customers’ requests, industrialtrend and code of practice requirement.

·      Provide technical support for internal staff from Service,Project, Sales and Sales Engineering Department.

·      Coordinate with factory and/ or suppliers and contractors toimplement new systems or repair existing ones on Schindler equipment, percustomers’ requests.

·      Coordinate and monitor corrective action programs,non-conformance, field feedback and field information.

·      Support in the preparation of reporting for internal or externalusage.

·      Carry out ad-hoc assignments, such as, conduct training, attendcustomer meetings, etc.

·      Lead in daily operations like maintenance scheduling and call backresources.

·      Liaise with customers on their complaints and take the lead infollow up actions.

Coordinate, monitor,execute actions on operation problems and lift technical problems.

Position Summary

Maintenance Engineer is to oversee repair and preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment and all property repairs through involvement and delegation with subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Engineer in the daily functions of the Maintenance department
• Supervise delegate duties to repair and maintain all electrical / mechanical / air-conditioning equipment in the Hotel
• Plan, schedule and co-ordinate building mechanical and electrical maintenance works
• Liaise with general contractors and must ensure before commence all RA must be fully endorsed
• Able to carry our repair and maintain all air conditioning equipment, refrigeration, and electrical work associated with equipment
• Assist in the planning of budget and monthly reports
• To carry out shift / Split shift duties or when called upon to perform
• Carry out other assignments and duties as and by the Assistant Maintenance Manager or Senior Maintenance Officer

Role- Senior Technician and Engineer.

Applicant need to able to operate lens grinding machine and experience working in production environment.

Able to fit ophthalmic lenses on spectacle frame - type rimless, rimlon and full frame. Experience in operating Nidek and MEI grinding machine is a must. understand and able to do color tint on lenses will be added advantage. Need to work overtime and require to do minor repair of machine.
