Job description

• Develop and maintain client relationship relating with custody business and future potential business opportunities.
• Main contact person to liaise with Head office custody team. Understand strategic business direction, collaborate with front office stakeholders to achieve business targets
• Promote business development and cooperation across various areas such as deposits and loans, and achieve sales target KPIs consist of custody account opening, custody fees targets and Asset under Custody (AUC) targets.
• Articulate clearly on client’s requirements and provide holistic client demands and solutions.
• Propose fee quotation, ability to project client’s potential revenue generation based on client’s portfolio.
• Engaged with internal stakeholders to line up the book of work, taking business priorities in consideration and driving timely deliveries across line of businesses
• Critical role where candidate will partner with core teams to lead time sensitive sales programs effectively while managing both business and technology stakeholders to help capitalize on best deliverables to grow the business
• Familiar with global custody business models and products, good customer relationships with sovereign, bank and non-bank clients, and understanding of cross-border institutional investment and QFI/CIBM channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with more than 10 years of working experience. Preference will be given to candidate with more than 5 years' relevant experience in sales activities related with custody, fund accounting and/or securities/fund operations in banking/brokerage sector.
• Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions and product development.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
• Effective communication with good interpersonal, written and verbal skills in both English and Chinese so as to serve Chinese speaking customers. Must have ability to write in business Chinese for reporting to Head Office.
• Ability to conduct market research and excellent report writing ability in business Chinese.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

• Design and develop attractive outbound tour packages aligned with market demand and seasonal trends
• Conduct destination research, competitor analysis, and pricing benchmarking
• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with overseas suppliers (hotels, DMCs, airlines, attractions)
• Build costings, pricing structures, and ensure healthy profit margins
• Enhance existing products with new itineraries, experiences, and value-added components
• Support product launches, campaigns, and promotional events

Sales Support & Performance

• Work closely with sales teams to drive product uptake and conversion
• Provide product training, updates, and selling points to frontline staff and partners
• Monitor sales performance and adjust product strategies accordingly
• Support travel fairs, roadshows, and promotional events where required
• Develop tactical offers to boost sales for underperforming destinations

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related discipline
• Experience in outbound travel product development and/or travel sales preferred
• Strong understanding of international destinations and travel trends
• Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial sense with attention to pricing and margins
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced travel environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of booking systems is an advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To manage and grow suite of Cyber Security products, technical services and other related services.
• To drive service creation and service quality enhancement of its products and to increase market share and profitability by continuous product enhancements, operation improvements, and product marketing and pricing strategies.
• Analyse market conditions and provide critical inputs to management for medium-and long-term business planning
• Create and maintain the business cases for strategic pricing and non-standard terms and conditions
• Collaborate with service delivery and operation team to ensure effective product delivery mechanism is maintained.
• Support sales team to win/ retain customers by providing competitive pricing and customized solution/ SLA if required
• Analysing potential partner relationships for the product
• Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess at least a Diploma in IT related fields or equivalent.
• Applicants without IT qualification may still apply but must have at least 2-3 years of sales experience.
• A good sales track record of computer networks and IT security will be an advantage
• Prior experience working in distributor environment preferred
• Strong leadership, team building and logical thinking
