Position Summary

• The Production Control Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all production scheduling, material control, and project progress activities for semiconductor cleaning equipment assembly projects.
• This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth assembly operations, on-time delivery, and efficient resource utilization while meeting quality, cost, and customer requirements. The manager will work closely with procurement, engineering, warehouse, quality assurance, project management teams, Japanese customers, and Japan HQ to coordinate production schedules and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

Develop and manage master production schedules for semiconductor cleaning equipment assembly projects.

Coordinate manpower allocation and production loading based on project priorities and customer delivery requirements.

Monitor daily production progress and adjust schedules to minimize delays and bottlenecks.

Issue and control production work orders and assembly schedules.

2. Material Control & Inventory Management

Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability.

Monitor material shortages, delivery delays, excess inventory, and supply risks.

Manage kitting schedules and material readiness for assembly operations.

Improve inventory accuracy and support stock control activities.

3. Project Coordination & Customer Communication

Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to align production schedules with customer milestones.

Coordinate production schedules and delivery plans with Japanese customers and Japan HQ.

Support production adjustments in response to specification changes, priority changes, or urgent delivery requests from Japan.

Participate in regular meetings with Japan HQ and customers to report production status, risks, and recovery actions.

4. Production Monitoring & KPI Management

Monitor and analyze key production indicators including:

On-Time Delivery (OTD)

Schedule adherence

Production efficiency

Assembly lead time

Inventory turnover

Material shortage occurrence

Additional responsibilities include:

Preparing weekly and monthly production reports for management.

Identifying production issues and implementing corrective actions.

5. Continuous Improvement

Lead continuous improvement activities in production planning and material flow management.

Establish and maintain SOPs for production control processes.

Promote Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and operational efficiency improvement activities.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as the coordination window between production, purchasing, engineering, QA/QC, warehouse, and logistics teams.

Escalate critical production risks and propose countermeasures to management.

Support customer audits and internal operational reviews when required.

7. Team Management

Lead and supervise production control staff and planners.

Provide training and guidance on scheduling, planning systems, and reporting standards.

Set departmental goals and evaluate team performance.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, production control, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, precision machinery, automation equipment, or project-based assembly manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, material planning, and inventory control.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and machining drawings.
• Understanding of BOM management and engineering change control.

Position Summary

The Assembly Project Leader is the overall Malaysia-side person-in-charge for the semiconductor cleaning equipment assembly project

This position is responsible for leading and managing the entire assembly project operation, including production planning, assembly execution, procurement coordination, shipment control, cost management, and project profitability improvement.

As the primary operational window for Japanese customers and Japan HQ, the Assembly Leader is expected to coordinate production schedules, delivery commitments, project risks, and improvement activities to ensure achievement of QDC targets .

The role also requires strong leadership in driving operational efficiency, organizational development, and continuous improvement across the assembly project organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Project Management

Lead and manage the entire semiconductor equipment assembly project operation in Malaysia.

Oversee Assembly, Production Control, and Procurement functions for the assembly project.

Monitor and control overall project progress including production, material readiness, assembly status, and shipment schedules.

Ensure achievement of project QDC targets.

2. Production Planning & Progress Management

Develop and review production plans for semiconductor manufacturing equipment assembly projects.

Coordinate with the Production Control Manager to optimize production schedules, manpower allocation, and production capacity utilization.

Review daily production progress and direct recovery actions for schedule delays or operational issues.

Identify production bottlenecks and drive corrective and preventive actions.

3. Customer Coordination & Delivery Management

Act as the primary coordination window with Japanese customers and Japan HQ.

Handle delivery schedule coordination, shipment management, and customer requests based on project requirements.

Lead responses for urgent delivery requests, priority changes, and engineering changes.

Report production risks, schedule impacts, and recovery actions to Japanese customers and Japan HQ.

4. Production Issue Management & Continuous Improvement

Identify operational issues, production risks, and process bottlenecks across the assembly project.

Lead cross-functional improvement activities with Assembly, Engineering, QA/QC, Production Control, and Procurement teams.

Promote defect reduction, process standardization, and operational excellence.

Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

5. Productivity Improvement

Develop and implement measures to improve production efficiency and operational productivity.

Lead initiatives for labor efficiency improvement, workflow optimization, and lead time reduction.

Promote standardization of assembly processes and operational best practices.

Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective improvement actions.

6. Cost Control & Profitability Improvement

Manage overall project cost performance for assembly operations.

Lead cost reduction activities including labor efficiency improvement, material loss reduction, and rework reduction.

Develop and implement measures to improve project profitability.

Support budget management and profitability analysis activities.

7. Organizational Management

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Steel Production Manager to lead steel fabrication, sub-assembly, and block construction activities withina shipyard environment. This role will be responsible for driving productionefficiency, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and delivering projectsaccording to schedule.

The ideal candidate should possess strong shipbuilding experience, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing large-scale steel construction operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management

• Lead and oversee all steel fabrication, sub-assembly, and block construction activities to support project delivery targets.
• Develop and manage production schedules to ensure work progresses according to project milestones.
• Monitor production performance and implement improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, materials, and yard resources.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all steel construction activities comply with classification society requirements, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure corrective actions are implemented when required.
• Work closely with QA/QC teams to maintain compliance throughout project execution.

Safety Management

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across production areas.
• Collaborate with HSE teams to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company safety procedures.
• Ensure safe execution of all steel construction activities within the shipyard.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage Steel Supervisors, production personnel, and subcontractor teams.
• Monitor workforce performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support manpower planning and resource allocation to meet operational requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate closely with engineering, planning, procurement, QA/QC, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide regular updates on production progress, challenges, and recovery plans where necessary.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in shipbuilding, shipyard operations, or steel construction management.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, block assembly, and shipyard production processes.
• Experience managing large production teams and subcontractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willing to be based full-time in Batam, Indonesia.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager will support new product development, new product introduction and cost out designing for existing product lines through sound execution of engineering principles and processes. • Lead and manage semiconductor backend manufacturing operations across Backgrind, Laser Mark, , Laser groove, Wafer Saw, AOI, and Tape & Reel processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.

• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield enhancement, cycle time reduction, equipment utilization, and cost optimization.

• Lead multiple production shifts through supervisors and engineers, ensuring effective manpower planning, workforce development, and operational discipline.

• Manage customer escalations, production risks, and quality excursions, ensuring timely containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

• Partner with Process, Equipment, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance teams to resolve complex manufacturing issues and improve process robustness.

• Monitor and drive key manufacturing KPIs including OEE, yield, UPH, cycle time, on-time delivery, scrap, and labor productivity.

• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process transfers, and manufacturing readiness activities to meet customer and business requirements.

• Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve factory performance and scalability.

• Ensure compliance with quality systems, customer requirements, EHS standards, and audit expectations.

• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies, organizational capability, and succession plans to support long-term business growth.

Required Experience and Qualifications :

• Minimum Degree in any disciplines.

• Preferably 10 years experience in semiconductor industry.

• Experience managing manufacturing operations for minimum of 5 years
