We're looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Memory Reliability & Qualification engineering organization in Bengaluru, India. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee the complete NAND Flash memory qualification lifecycle, drive innovation, and build a high-performing engineering team. You will be responsible for translating business objectives into technical strategies while maintaining operational excellence and delivering world-class solutions.

• Lead and mentor a team of NAND Technology Reliability engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• The candidate should have a vast experience in semiconductor industry along with strong skills in Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Device Physics and programming
• Develop and execute memory qualification strategies aligned with organizational goals and business demands
• Oversee the complete qualification lifecycle, from requirements gathering through successful memory qualification, ensuring timely delivery and attention to details
• Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to optimize operational efficiency
• Make critical technical decisions based on the performance and reliability checkpoint data to judge the memory technology
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product engineering, test engineering and product management to ensure seamless delivery
• Develop and implement performance metrics to track engineering team productivity and deliverables quality
• Represent the team in executive meetings and strategic planning sessions

Role Objective

Own and drive segment for India for India -level growth strategy by translating market, customer, and application insights into clear value propositions, portfolio priorities, and GTM execution, enabling sustained revenue growth and design-win leadership across targeted segments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Segment Strategy & Market Leadership for India for India segment

• Define segment strategy aligned for India for India segment
• Own TAM / SAM / SOM sizing and growth forecasting for assigned segments

2. Customer & Application Insight Ownership

• Develop deep customer understanding across OEMs, Tier-1s, and startups
• Identify design-in decision drivers: cost, reliability, functional safety, certifications, lifecycle, supply assurance

3. Value Proposition & Positioning

• Define segment-specific value propositions aligned to India market needs
• Enable price–performance and solution-based selling (not part-based selling)

4. Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution

• Drive India GTM plans for the chosen India for India segments
• Work closely with regional sales to define target accounts, focus customers, and design-win strategy
• Enable sales with segment playbooks, battle cards, pitch decks, and training

• Segment revenue growth & design-win funnel (YoY) & Segment BWIN
• Number and quality of strategic design-ins in target applications and help sales to drive the business
• Market share improvement in focus segments and identify competition

The ideal candidate for Principal Engineer, Product Quality demonstrates deep proficiency in the philosophy of quality, strong systems engineering fundamentals across all key domains integral to product quality, and the ability to challenge the status quo constructively. They serve as a proactive advocate for the "voice of the customer," ensuring customer-centric decision-making in core team discussions and fostering continuous improvement in product quality.

Responsibilities include below:

1. Oversee and uphold product quality from PRD creation to production handover and sustaining phases.
2. Define and review product quality criteria and milestones for development and sustaining phases and ensure conformance to the plans
3. Perform quality risk assessments on internal and external JIRAs from 3rd party, proactively identifying vulnerabilities
4. Drive alignment among cross-functional teams regarding quality standards and objectives.
5. Conduct post-mortem reviews and lessons learned analyses on quality challenges during development and sustaining phases.
6. Facilitate cross-site, cross-team collaboration to implement actionable improvements from past experiences.
7. Develop and execute mitigation strategies using risk management frameworks like FMEA to protect product integrity and business goals.
8. Actively participate in engineering processes, such as PRD, DFx, qualification syncs, test plans, and RDT, to ensure alignment with reliability and quality objectives.
9. Forecast and address potential quality risks during engineering reviews.
10. Identify and address process inefficiencies across the Product Life Cycle (PLC) execution.
11. Collaborate with execution teams to implement robust improvement actions.
12. Develop and embed quality-centric values, standards, and methodologies across operations.
13. Apply data analytics and evidence-based methodologies to support objective decision-making.
14. Resolve contentions effectively using measurable insights.
