Based in Singapore and within the client services delivery framework, you will perform project management work in the APAC region. Role Accountabilities:

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the overall delivery of the project to ensure completion on or ahead of schedule while meeting all client expectations.

• Plan, allocate, and manage resources to deliver works within budget, programme, quality, and regulatory requirements; monitor workflows; and establish daily, weekly, and long-term project objectives.

• Lead and coordinate specialist functions including design, engineering, procurement, and construction, ensuring effective integration across multiple disciplines and work streams.

• Monitor and review project progress against approved plans, contractual requirements, and key milestones, ensuring compliance with schedule, quality, and cost targets, and implement timely corrective actions when required.

• Stakeholder Management: Actively engage stakeholders and develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, the community, and other external parties.

• Financial Management: Manage contracts, commercial matters, and financial risks; ensure accurate forecasting of costs and revenue; implement corrective actions in accordance with CCCC authority and reporting frameworks; and maximize project profitability.

• Provide strong leadership in risk management, compliance, and audit matters, ensuring all legislative, pre-contract, and commercial obligations are met, including compliance with relevant Building Codes and statutory requirements.

• People Management: Monitor staff and labour resourcing to ensure adequate project capability; supervise the workforce, including subcontractors; and foster a high-performance team with positive employee relations.

• Contribute to new business development, continuous improvement initiatives, and broader business activities.

• Coordinate with headquarters and site teams to secure sufficient resources for project delivery.

• Organize an effective project management team and develop plans to execute construction works efficiently.

• Perform all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies, processes, systems, reporting requirements, and procedures.

• Report site progress to the Project Director and assist in planning, organizing, and supervising site execution works.

• Oversee on-site works to ensure high standards of workmanship and full compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.

• Coordinate all trades to prevent abortive works, delays, or rework at later stages of construction.

• Manage and coordinate submissions to authorities and clients for all construction-related documentation and approvals.
  

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience and HDB project experience, with a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), or other qualifications acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control and eligible for appointment as a Resident Engineer; or a recognized degree in a relevant discipline, subject to acceptance by the Engineer.

• At least 10 years of proven experience in leading and managing design and construction teams for HDB projects of comparable scale, complexity, and nature.

Project Manager / Director

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager / Director to lead and oversee construction projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

Candidates with proven experience in school, nursing home, and factory construction projects will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from inception to handover.

• Report directly to Management and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, budgets, and resource requirements.

• Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are achieved.

• Develop, monitor, and update project master programmes, identify critical paths, and implement recovery plans when required.

• Lead project teams, site management staff, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

• Review project schedules, manpower deployment, procurement plans, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.

• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and claims to ensure financial targets and profitability are achieved.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and relevant stakeholders to resolve technical, contractual, and operational matters.

• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

• Conduct regular site visits, project reviews, and progress meetings to identify issues and implement corrective actions.

• Oversee contract administration, tender evaluations, procurement activities, and project documentation.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of project delivery and client satisfaction.

• Mentor and develop project team members, fostering a positive and high-performance working environment.

• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) and Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Singapore.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building construction projects, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership position.

• Proven track record in managing school, nursing home, and factory construction projects locally.

• Experience with main contractor projects will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, budgeting, contract administration, and project controls.

• Familiar with local authority requirements, building regulations, and workplace safety regulations.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams effectively.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
