Job Summary

Lead and manage construction projects to ensure timely delivery within budget while coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive smooth execution and compliance with contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans to achieve contract timelines and budget targets.
• Coordinate and actively participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and relevant parties to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Manage weekly site meetings with site teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers to monitor progress and ensure completion of contracted tasks.
• Oversee site team documentation processes by tracking and submitting Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Approval (RFA), and Shop Drawings promptly with the project team.
• Monitor and follow up on Project Extension of Time claims related to project delays to protect contractual interests.
• Ensure comprehensive compilation and maintenance of project documentation, including daily and weekly site reports, application forms, and updated project schedules, maintaining an organized master file onsite.
• Respond to and track all project-related emails, ensuring timely communication and keeping superiors informed.
• Provide guidance and advice to Quantity Surveyors during negotiations with sub-contractors and suppliers to secure quotations and pricing within project budgets.
• Lead and manage project engineers, site coordinators, site supervisors, and workers to meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Execute additional tasks as directed by the company, such as attending tender interviews and company audit meetings.
• Handle assigned projects with accountability for their successful delivery.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in Private Industry & Residence Construction Projects, specifically Landed Property and Factory projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project execution by coordinating manpower allocation, project requirements, and meeting attendance to ensure timely progress.
• Prepare, discuss, and report project schedules, cash flow, and budgets to management for informed decision-making.
• Track and report weekly project completion status to monitor progress and identify risks.
• Forecast and report monthly project revenue, expenses, and key performance metrics to support financial planning.
• Define and assign project roles to team members based on project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Determine and allocate necessary resources including staffing, software, hardware, equipment, and facilities according to project specifications.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships through proactive communication.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
• Lead project teams to prioritize approved project tasks by analyzing strategic importance, outstanding tasks, obstacles, budget, and deadlines.
• Establish, document, and communicate comprehensive schedules for all project phases to ensure alignment and transparency.

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant project management experience.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively as a team player with strong analytical and communication skills.
